Stayed for NU parents weekend. Amazing place! Close to the school and the house offered a cozy stay for the family. House was very clean and well taken care of. Will deft stay here again. Host was very attentive and provided really good comms and info throughout the stay.
Beautiful home and location, lots of kid-friendly toys and books at the home which were perfect for my 3 and 6 year olds. We had the best time, hope we can come back!!!

Thank you for your valuable feedback. I am so sorry that you had difficulty arriving to the home! This is the first we have heard of a guest not getting the correct address but I will definitely reach out to VRBO and confirm the address link is correct. We would love to have you return for a future stay!
Outstanding accommodations in a beautiful home (with a sauna) right on the Mad River. We thoroughly enjoyed all the amenities graciously provided by the host, and slept well on the beds. Can't imagine a more inviting or hospitable place, in the heart of Moretown, Vermont...and it's dog-friendly, too!
The house was very clean and had everything that we needed. Lively view of the river in the back and we enjoyed the outdoor sauna. We attended a wedding in Moretown and it was the perfect location.
I was very nervous about getting a home in a small town of Vermont as they are all older homes. However this home was amazing! Mostly updated and the things that remain original are with such cute charm like the closet door and things. The house is cutely decorated and super clean. All towels, dishes and bedding were spotless. Loved that there were little small things there that you sometimes need but don’t want to buy an entire box. For example sandwich bags. Also had umbrellas and reusable totes for the store! Can’t think of anything that needs to be better. This place is perfect!!!! Book it!!!!
We had great stay. We visited my daughter for Thanksgiving and had an awesome time. The home is very comfortable, clean, peaceful and the view of the river is great. I would definitely return and do recommend.
Convenient to destination. Excellent amenities. Great communication and responsiveness from host. Did not get an opportunity to try some of the amenities, but they looked nice.
We enjoyed a family weekend at the beautiful mad river retreat. The house was very comfortable, clean and well organized. We explored the river and swam in the clean and refreshing water hole by the house. This was our first visit to the mad river valley and won’t be the last, We really enjoyed the mountains, beautiful scenery and friendly community and had much fun tubing and fishing. Michelle was an amazing host!!
Clean, adorable little Vermont country home. Host is friendly and quick to respond. We are extremely happy with our stay. Beautiful, tranquil, well kept home and property. Beautiful perennials, outdoor sauna, outdoor fire pit overlooking the mad River. The sound of the mad River is so peaceful. This house comes with everything you need and can think of. Just bring your groceries and suitcase. Comfortable beds and bedding. We highly recommend and will definitely return next year. Guest book to sign and a welcome package with book listing check in/ check out details and local restaurants. Instructions on how to use sauna and emergency contact info. They have everything you need.
