Everything about this property from the host to the cabin and its amenities. We loved all the personal touches, and the years of happy memories is sprinkled throughout the cabin. We walked the trails, cooked out on the BBQ, lived on the deck during the day and surrounded by the wood burning stove at night. Our dogs even had the time of their lives walking the trails and exploring. I cannot speak highly enough of this host and his cabin!
The cabin and surroundings are perfect - tucked into the VT woods to provide the solitude we needed. Would recommend to anyone looking to unwind and enjoy Vermont.
Great property, very secluded and peaceful setting. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, pans and kitchen gadgets. It was great just sitting on the deck and enjoying the view and the hot tub
The perfect Vermont getaway. Michael was very responsive and a great host. A simply charming log cabin situated in a private setting in the woods. We grilled most nights enjoying the great outdoors and the stars above! Loved to be able to soak in the HOT tub on a chilly night. Great sleeping too, the beds were very comfortable! We also love that VT is dog friendly, on behalf of ours - they enjoyed it immensely! We look forward to coming back again next year!!!!
The property was great for our family. We are super into nature and love the feeling of being in the middle of nowhere. It's very private and has some short trails on the property for kids and dogs to explore. There was WiFi and cell phone service on the property but no cell service on the surrounding roads, so download your GPS maps before coming down. The actual house was amazing, had everything you can ask for with a cozy log cabin feel to go with it. Kids liked being in the lofts and playing Foosball, we liked the modern kitchen, the roomy deck and cozy beds. Be careful driving up the driveway as there is a spot you can bottom out on.
Cute cabin. Very private. Well equipped. Owner responded to messages fairly quickly. Floor clean, kitchen clean, linens clean, toilet clean; Lot's of owner's stuff tucked in corners, fridge/ freezer had a lot of owner's items in it, cabin has a musty smell, wood smoke smell (sorta to be expected), very dusty: furniture surfaces, under furniture, corners, a lot of dog hair, (dog blankets on the sofa w/ hair on it, 2 baby mattresses in the master bedroom around the bed w/ dog hair on it, cushion in window of master bedroom w/ dog hair on it) a good bit of ashes left in the fireplace, damp linens in the washer, bath tub had slimy soap scum where the shower curtain lays against the tub, satellite tv did not work, internet not strong enough to stream on the smart TV, but was able to stream off of our laptop, grass was cut, but grounds were not well kept, random stuff lying in overgrown ?flower beds / gardens?, fishing pond much smaller than it appears in picture. Did not fish in it. We have stayed in at least 50 cabins. We live right at the Smoky Mountains in what I would call "cabin country". We've stayed in many pet friendly cabins and never had a problem. From the moment we got there, my husband's allergies started acting up. We were supposed to stay 6 nights Wed to Tues. By day 3 we had to start him on steroids. It honestly felt like we were intruding on someone's everyday house. We notified owner on Sunday that we were leaving due to my husband's allergies.
Greatest property we have had to enjoy on VRBO.
Owners were extremely kind and helpful !
We will for sure return ! The kids loved it !
Everything was there to build great memories for life !
Thank you so much for allowing us to enjoy your piece of paradise
