Big! Good location.
Kitchen, fridge, pantry, dishwasher all good and well stocked. Enjoyed the BBQ. Beds comfy. Lots of room. Needed more hand towels. There was no Kleenex. Window shades are in disarray. A coupl of trash cans hadn't been emptied. Lots of "food debris " on kitchen floor. Could have been cleaner. Overall, is a good house but could use a little more attention.

Big Disappointment/Dingy Home
This was a letter I sent to the on call people and did not get a response after: We actually finally found a box of trash bags that was not in plain sight inside the garage. None of us parked in it to begin with, so it was hard to find it unless you move some stuff. We spent time looking into cabinets, etc. I suggest, that, since instructions on the the check-in and check-out process are pretty more company-friendly, the following suggestions be given due consideration: 1. The location of the trash bags should be stipulated and/or placed under the kitchen sink where most trash originates from. 2. A description of the dumpster location be included since it is a hard to miss right turn for non-Tahoe residents. 3. During summer months, the Tahoe area can be very uncomfortably warm. Please clearly state that there is no AC. We were literally sweating even at night with windows open and ceiling fans on. This avoids an extra layer of disappoinent for guests who prefer a a welcoming cool atmosphere especially from the sweltering heat outdoors. The interior of this home is literally hotter than outside! The absence of an AC can make or break the decision to rent a house. 4. The house was very dark and unwelcoming when we came in and had a peculiar smell on the entryway stairwell, which, by the way has very dirty carpetry. Additionally, the lay out is more like a labyrinth with a wall to welcome guests and walls blocking the views outside...unlike the sunny and airy photos advertised. 5. The cabinets in the kitchen were also not clean and the floor was sticky. 6. For some, there were hairs on the pillows on the bed. We felt grossed-out sleeping on it. 7. There were also used towels in the downstairs dryer which were still damp. We had to run the dryer for you. 8. We are nurses and brought a UV light to make sure surfaces are clean, and they are not really clean enough to match the demands your company are asking for paying renters. Lastly, the on-call help was more interested in talking rather than hearing what I had to say. All in all, it was a very big disappointment .

Great House for Groups
The house is perfect for larger families or groups! We went with several young families and absolutely loved the location and home. It's not too fancy (perfect since we had toddlers running around) and the set up worked perfectly for us - main level with kitchen (on the small side for the number of people that can stay at the house, but we made it work), master bedroom and living. Downstairs has two separate wings - one with the game room, twin room, queen, and shared bath and the other (newer) wing with three queen bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. Both sides have a washer & dryer, and there are doors to help keep the temperature consistent and manage noise. We loved being in the Northstar area and having access to the shuttles especially - it's great to not need your car for the weekend and be able to come & go and meet friends at your leisure. The house is nothing fancy but we all really enjoyed it, and we found the property management company to be really helpful when needed. The only annoyance was having to take trash to the dumpster 1.5 miles away (and bring back the key card) at the end of our stay. And I recommend bringing some of your own pillows or blankets if you plan to use all of the rooms - we had trouble finding any extra linens.

Family Reunion

Great house and location
Our family reunion of 5 adult couples stayed at this home. Everyone had there own bedroom and bathroom. Most bed were very comfortable . A large table was perfect for seating around.. the kitchen had almost everything you needed. We found we needed more spoons and dish towels. The outside areas were beautiful to sit in the sun or shade on the decks. The location of the house was perfect for hiking, visiting the state parks and all the beauty of Lake Tahoe. The management company was very helpful we like renting through Evolve!
