Escape to the mountains at this charming, rustic 3-bedroom, 2-bath cabin surrounded by peaceful scenery and beautiful mountain views. Driving Information: Mountain View Log Cabin is located "up Tanner's Ridge" in the Skyline Lakes subdivision. The drive follows a scenic gravel mountain road with winding curves, elevation changes, and beautiful overlooks that many guests enjoy stopping to photograph. During spring, summer, and fall, most standard vehicles, including sedans and compact cars, can access the cabin in normal weather conditions. However, very low-clearance vehicles are not recommended, and guests uncomfortable driving on gravel mountain roads may prefer an SUV or AWD vehicle.



November–March: A 4WD vehicle is required due to the possibility of snow and ice. Mountain weather can change quickly, so please plan accordingly.



Trash: There is no trash service in the area. Guests can take their trash with them, or the house manager can remove it for a $5 tip per bag.



Firewood: Firewood is optional at $10/night. If you don't plan to use it or prefer to bring your own, just let us know, and we'll be happy to refund the charge.



Pets: Dogs are welcome! A maximum of 2 dogs with a $50 pet fee per dog. Sorry, no cats.

Wonderful, quiet, relaxing stay! A beautiful bouquet of flowers awaited me upon arrival. The cabin leaves you needing or wanting nothing else than what it provides. I hope to stay again in the future!

Cabin was perfect. Clear precise and easy communication throughout. Clean and exactly as described. Took my 3 sons (14,12,7) for Memorial Day weekend. Cabin is easy driving distance to great fishing and hiking. We had such a great time and will 100% be returning

The cabin is a little 2 story place. The inside is rustic looking with very modern appliances. It has everything you need from linens to seasonings to board games, corn hole and movies.We used the propane grill to cook steaks and burgers and to end the nights with s'mores around the fire pit. Ample amount of chopped fire wood.The view was absolutely spectacular. It is such a beautiful and peaceful getaway from the real world. Booking and communication with the host was professional and seamless. I would definitely recommend this place for families or couples.The road up to the cabin can be quite challenging if you are in a car but with an SUV or truck no problem.10/10 overall experience.
