This is a residential neighborhood, but there is a great coffee shop, Hey Cafe, about 3 blocks away. There is a section of Freret Street 1/2 a mile (15 min walk) that has many bars, restaurants, cafes, music venues. It is one of the hippest areas of the city. You can walk to the St Charles Avenue streetcar line (just over one mile) and ride the street car through the garden district to the French Quarter for about $2

This is the second time we’ve stayed here and we highly recommend it! Plenty of room for multiple people and tons of activities for the kids! Between the playhouse, trampoline, and pool, there’s something for everyone. Easy location to get to a CVS/Walgreens if needed and to get around the city.

We came for Jazz Fest. We felt very safe and the neighborhood was very quiet. We didn’t use the pool, but loved sitting on the front porch in the mornings while drinking coffee and in the evenings while having our last cocktails.

Kerri is the best host I’ve ever interacted with. The house was perfect. There are so many tiny details and touches everywhere, the house is immaculately furnished. The chandeliers all over the property are gorgeous. We loved the attic suite. We also really appreciated the fluffy giant towels and comfortable bedding. Nice pool & decor for bachelorette

Very nicely appointed house. Nice, large beds and great how 4 bedrooms all have closing doors for added privacy with large group. Attic suite very cute. Cute front porch. Pool as pictured was a great feature to escape the summer heat and recover from busy downtown. Gated house and yard felt secure. Host was easy to reach via VRBO and phone. Very accommodating at check in. Close to a cvs and walgreens and coffee. We did not get to explore nearby feret, but heard that was very cute. Kitchen was slightly underwhelming if you plan to cook, a but small and understocked with tools. There was a basement suite as well which did not impact privacy or pool usage. Group of 8 30-somethings for bachelorette were very satisfied!

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was very clean and we liked walking the neighborhood. The pool was great although we were hoping for it to be a bit warmer but it worked for the small amount of time we had to spend in the pool. I had an amazing stay at this property! Gorgeous house! Each room has a theme and there’s a bubble chair setting in the living room! Heated pool was nice and above all every bed in that house was comfortable! The rainfall shower is magical as well. Kerri was super responsive and helpful too. Our trip was lovely. Thanks again!

House was clean, well stocked and conveniently located to the French Quarter as well as restaurants. Did not realize at the time of booking that home was a multi rental, so we got a bit freaked out when downstairs neighbors arrived late in the night but once they were settled in no issues with noise.
