We really enjoyed our stay in this condo. The views were gorgeous! The condo was clean and nicely decorated. We plan on coming back. Fort Myers Beach did not disappoint.

We have been staying at Gateway Villas for 35 years so we know what to expect and we realize that they are still rebuilding for the devastating hurricanes. But this condo was outfitted in the cheapest way - uncomfortable pillows, uncomfortable(cheap) furniture and the kitchen is not suited for anybody that likes to cook. It served its purpose but wasn't comfortable. Just know thought that it had beach toys and chairs as well as umbrellas that were much appreciated.

Thank you Kathryn for the review. This particular unit had a total renovation and is easily considered one of the nicest units in Gateway - beautiful kitchen and gorgeous bathrooms. Their furniture is anything but cheap as we watched their meticulous owners pick out top tier items, but I do understand everybody has their own likes when it comes to pillows etc. and the kitchen is set up as a nice vacation rental unit - but if you were expecting a kitchen set up for top chefs, I can easily understand you would want more (same from most vacation rentals). When you are ready to book next time, please reach out to our office and we will help curate the perfect location for you (even do a Facetime from a unit so we can explore it with you...we want our amazing guests like you to be VERY happy!).

The host left us perfect instructions for check-in. The unit was clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable and the wi-fi allowed me to work remotely with no drops on connectivity. The view is amazing and the location close enough to walk everywhere yet just far enough from the noise of the public beach to be relaxing. The pool and grounds were clean. We would stay here again.
