Your home away from home in St. Ignace with 2 bedrooms. This adorable house features a cozy queen bed and a twin bed, perfect for a small group or family. Guests can relax in the brilliant living room, which includes a comfortable futon for extra sleeping space. The single bathroom comes equipped with a hair dryer for convenience. Warm up during cooler nights with the heating system and enjoy thoughtful touches. It’s easy to see why you’ll be able to unwind at our place. Rustic cabin charm of retro cottage styling includes Pine walls and old-timey fixtures with new carpets and hardwood floors. Magnificent rear patio view of the Straits of Mackinac and freighters passing by. Propane grill and fire pits are close at hand with sizeable yard and plenty parking areas for toys... Close to town and KOA with immediate access to the highway for the boat docks to Mackinac Island. If you have special needs for equipment or directions, on site manager can be of assistance... Kayaks and such... Easy shuttle access to the casino. Spacious living/dining area and full basement area with single dog kennel. Full kitchen with coffee and microwave, electric range and basic cooking supplies. Pet sitting available with special arrangements.

The apartment is very clean, comfortable and cozy. The location is far enough out of town to provide a little extra privacy, but close enough to be convenient. The back patio has a beautiful view of the lake (especially at night when the moon is shining) and is nicely wooded, giving it a secluded feel.We trailered a truck for the St Ignace car show and there was more than enough space to park and unload the truck.John (the host) is the best! He's very knowledgeable about the area and can tell you the best places to eat and visit.

I brought my grandson for his H.S. graduation present because he wanted to learn more about his native heritage, John the host was amazing! He was so knowledgeable about the area and indigenous culture in the area and gave us plenty of info on places to go,restaurants in the area and so on. The duplex is in an IDEAL spot for exploring!a few minutes to st.ignace downtown, and Mackinac ferries. An hour plus a few to tahquamenon falls, perfect for getting around. The unit itself was immaculate, so cozy and the view from the backyard to the lake was stunning. It was spacious and so welcoming! It had all the amenities to make our stay comfortable. And Totem village across the street is a must see! Tons of art and artifacts and that owner was also very gracious and accommodating to my grandson . The stay was a wonderful experience for us both and we'd love to go again. The pictures on vrbo don't do that cabin justice, it's so much nicer in person!
