The condo is amazing. Walking distance to town was a place. Right in Acadia was amazing. The place was nice and big for our 2 teens and 2 adults. It was just perfect!! We loved our stay and would return no doubt!!
This location was comfortable, clean, and offered easy access to the downtown area of Bar Harbor, as well as the Acadia National Park entrances. We had enough space for three of us, including the number of bathrooms, lounging in the living area, cooking in the kitchen, and sitting out on the deck. I would recommend this space to anyone wanting to visit the area.

A very comfy place within walkable distance to down town Bar Harbor. The host is super responsive (we missed a hair dryer, and was delivered almost immediately). This unit is on the woods side of the building, and it is much more private than the next unit (which is on the driveway side).

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, Whitney. We are glad to hear that you appreciated the good location and the woods behind the place for the kids to play in.
We sincerely apologize for the issues you encountered during your stay, including the smell, the uncomfortable bed, the dents and holes in the wall, the limited AC, and the absence of a grill. This is not the standard of service we strive to provide, and we regret that it impacted your experience. Your feedback is very important to us, and we will address these concerns with our maintenance and housekeeping teams to ensure these issues are resolved for future guests.
We hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future and provide you with a stay that meets the high standards we aim for.

It met our needs.
The rental house met our needs. We liked walking into town, having a washer/dryer and air conditioning in the living room and master. It was clean enough for me to be comfortable with my kids there though not on par with what I’ve come to expect from most VRBO rental homes. I would consider this rental a step above a basic cabin and not on level with a comfortable home. Nothing wrong with it…just not what I had expected.

Love Bar Harbor
Nice property in beautiful, very quiet part of town approximately a 15 minute walk to the village green. Has all of the desired amenities we look for…number of bedrooms and bathrooms, reasonable well furnished kitchen, washer and dryer so we can minimize packing, nice size for family of 4, off street parking, easy access, etc. However this place is obviously very well used (which is good!) but heavily worn and only marginally well maintained. Nothing that was disruptive to a vacation requiring immediate attention, but also disappointing given cost that puts it into nice properties range.

The location is superb. On the outskirts of Bar Harbor in a quiet neighborhood with an open space across the street. It is a short walk (10-15 minutes) or a quick bike ride (5 minutes) downtown. There is also a playground, park and wading pool right nearby which is great for kids! The desk with grill were really nice and we made most of our dinners outside. The kitchen is stocked only with very basics so plan to bring salt, pepper, basket coffee filters, spices, etc.The place was very clean and they even left a package of wiopes which was great during this COVID pandemic. My only real issue was that the beds and pillows were really uncomfortable (beds creaky and very soft, pillows fiberfill and super hard). If these items were upgraded this would certainly be a 5 start location!

Only 3 stars bc of location
House upstairs smelled like dog and dirty feet . Stains on the carpet , blinds that did not roll up / work in the master . Mattress in master was like a rock . Owners need to stay at their place to understand why these things need to be changed . Downstairs couch was uncomfortable and place needs a broom and febreeze . Weird rotten smell downstairs . Deserves 3 stars only bc of location to town
