Great spot for a fishing trip. The house is new and was clean when we arrived. Comfortable bed and the decor gives it a lodge feel without being overdone. It’s in a quiet part of town and close to Kenai River access, so getting on the water was easy. Soldotna is right down the street for groceries and restaurants.Because it’s new, there isn’t much landscaping yet — the yard is mostly dirt and gravel. That wasn’t a big deal for us, and there is a fire pit and a back deck. Finished landscaping would go a long way to enjoying the outdoor spaces of the home.A couple of finishing touches are still in progress — some trim boards weren’t fully secured — but it didn’t affect the stay. Would book again.
