Make yourself at home at MYSTIC MOUNTAIN cabin! You’ll love the views of the Shenandoah Valley, the high ceilings within this genuine log home & the peaceful & private atmosphere. This cabin is comfortable & large enough to host families, groups of friends or reunions but it can be perfect as well for couples or solo adventurers.
Whether you’re gathering around the cozy living area or stepping outside to enjoy the tranquil surroundings, this fabulous cabin invites you to unwind and recharge. It’s easy to see why guests love coming back to this peaceful getaway.

Guest Access-You’ll have exclusive access to the entire cabin and property during your stay, with no shared spaces and nobody to disturb you.

Road Access-Mystic Mountain is located on a mountain gravel road. AWD or 4WD vehicles are highly recommended, especially during periods of rain, snow, or icy conditions. Some higher-clearance vehicles may also be suitable.

Sheets & Towels-Linens are not included by default. The cabin is stocked with blankets, comforters, and pillows. Sheets and towels can be provided for an additional linen rental fee upon request.

Pets-Well-behaved pets are welcome with prior approval and a $50 fee per pet.

Reasonable, AC in the unit are old and make a lot of sound. Water was not clean and friend of mine found a rat in a bedroom . Last mile to the property is off roading and that has to be mentioned

Thank you for your feedback. We were surprised by these concerns, as none were communicated during your stay. We always encourage guests to reach out immediately if anything isn’t right, as our local property manager can respond quickly to resolve any issues. Taking these claims very seriously, we conducted a thorough inspection of the cabin. All AC units were checked & found to be operating properly. The cabin’s well water is regularly tested, treated & safe for consumption, as disclosed in our listing. While some guests prefer bottled water, the water is potable & serves multiple cabins on the mountain, including our property manager’s home. We also took the rodent claim very seriously & had the cabin professionally inspected. No evidence of rats or rodent activity was found. While the cabin is in a remote mountain setting where guests may see wildlife outdoors, we have NEVER had a rat issue in the cabin. Regarding the access road, our listing clearly explains that the cabin is located at the top of a mountain & we recommend 4WD/AWD. The final stretch is a maintained gravel mountain road—not an off-road trail— detailed arrival instructions are provided so guests know what to expect. We have welcomed many guests both before & since this stay who have had wonderful experiences & raised none of these concerns. We remain committed to providing a clean, comfortable cabin & encourage guests to contact us during their stay so we can ensure they have the best possible experience.
