Great Beach Location & Pet Friendly! Under Renovation - Opening Mid-April 2026

Quiet neighborhood between First and Second Beach. Great Location! Very comfortable, cozy home.

Easy walk to First Beach/Easton Beach (3/4 mile), Cliff Walk (1.1 miles) and the International Tennis Hall of Fame (1.8 miles) & Historic Bellevue Avenue. It is 2.1 miles from Thames Street - downtown Newport and a short Uber drive. Three minute drive to Second Beach.

You can stroll the Newport Mansions, art galleries, art museum and shopping galore.

Two miles to downtown Newport night life, shops and restaurants.
Walk or bike to all the sights:

Norman bird sanctuary, hiking at Sachuest Point National Wildlife Refuge or Purgatory Chasm, breathtaking Cliff Walk, Rotunda, Aquarium all in walking distance.

Short drive to Ocean Drive, fishing, kayaking, kite flying, Fort Adams State Park, sailing and relaxation.

Pets allowed. Our dogs love it! And while we love dogs, there are some exceptions regarding certain breeds staying here while renting. OUR INSURANCE COMPANY PROHIBITS THE FOLLOWING BREEDS FROM STAYING: Akita, American Staffordshire Terrier, Chow, Doberman Pinscher, Pit Bull, Presa Canario, Rottweiler, wolf hybrid or any dog that is a mix that includes one or more of the breeds listed, We're sorry that we can't rent to you if you have one of these breeds.

Beach cottage with original hard wood floors & fireplace. Beach decor. Very comfortable home. One queen bed, one full sized bed, one twin, one cot and two comfy couches.

Most rooms have ceiling fans. Air conditioning window units in the summer.

Kitchen has new refrigerator and stove (Spring 2022). Stove/Range has air frying.

Fenced-in large back yard with gardens and flowers. Outdoor shower, gas grill.

Driveway parking: Up to four cars.

Flat screen tv (42"), Blue-Ray player, Cable & Wireless internet. Cambridge Soundworks radio/CD player.

Includes linens, towels, beach towels, beach chairs, and fully equipped kitchen, outdoor table and chairs.

Wonderful little blue house

Cutest little house, great backyard and overall wonderful place. Excellent location for getting around. Easy walk to the beach, short drive into Newport. Owner gave us wonderful dinner and breakfast options, could walk to the breakfast place which we did two mornings. Thank you!

Great time at "The Little Blue Cottage". Had a Wedding at First Beach and Block party in the neighborhood. Great Neighborhood with lots of friends nearby.Everything worked out Perfect. Great Yard for gathering.

Nice cottage and great location

Nice cozy cottage that is dog friendly and has an awesome fenced in backyard. The location is perfect for exploring Newport and so quiet and peaceful at night.

Cozy Beach Cottage

Loved our stay! My family and I had a great experience staying at the cottage. The location is very convenient to Newport and other surrounding restaurants and attractions. The house is nice, clean and well equipped with everything you would need.

Great House and Location

Stayed a few days with my girlfriend and dog for a wedding. The house and location are great. The backyard is nicely fenced in and pretty large so was great for the dog to run around in. Would highly recommend staying here!

Super nice accommodating owners, great communication, tips. We loved the fenced in yard, outdoor shower, pingpong table, outdoor bbq& dining. We loved walking to 1st beach at end of street, walking to restaurants bars. House had large closet, washer dryer, plenty of tv channels, met all our needs. Highly recommend!

Perfect location

The perfect location for a trip to Newport. Easy access to the beaches and all the restaurants and activities in Newport. Check in process is easy and the house is always clean (we have stayed here for vacation for four summers). Highly recoomend.

Great Place in a Great Town

We had a wonderful time while in Newport and the house was perfect for a family of five. The location is perfect for access to the beach and only a few minute drive into downtown Newport. We didn't find anything that wasn't provided in the house and wished we could have stayed for the whole week. Will be back for sure!

This is a lovely cottage with a great backyard and great location, easy walk or drive to nice beaches, Cliff Walk, etc. The cottage was clean and well-appointed, and located in a lovely neighborhood. Host Cynthia was extraordinarily helpful and responsive.

Short but amazing stay

The cottage is very charming and so perfectly located near beautiful beaches and a short distance to historic Newport. Cynthia tips for local eating spots and grocery shopping were so helpful. She is a very attentive host and helped to make our stay memorable.We are planning to come back!
