Little Blue is a family friendly cottage with a fully equipped kitchen and dishwasher. The cottage has 2 bedrooms with a queen size bed in one and a full size bed in the other. There is a porta crib available. A pullout sofa queen bed in the living room offers additional sleeping space. The enclosed screen porch has a twin bed for napping or leisurely reading. The dining room accommodates 6 with a pull up leaf in the table for additional dining space. The back deck has 2 tables with chairs.
Little Blue is the quintessential cottage for your family get away or a fun time with friends. Not to mention a drivable or walkable private association access to Lake Michigan. Our private beach on Lake Michigan is rustic, water shoes are recommended.
Make a fire in the fire pit, relax and enjoy the sound and sights of wildlife, smell the lake and wildflowers.
A perfect get away. Just relax, with NO internet or WI-FI.

Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Put used linens and towels in the basket in the bathroom.
Trash can needs to be pulled to tge end of the driveway Sunday evening.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Compliance with Good Neighbor Policy and Short Term Regulatory Ordinance required. (Posted in cottage) Quiet time is 10pm, 7 nights a week - enforced.
No tents, campers or RV's allowed. Minimum 3 day rental. Please place garbage can at end of driveway Sunday evening. Please respect our neighbors.
*** Please Note: Clean up after yourselves on the property and at the beach. When at the beach stay off the bluffs and dunes. They are unstable!

We enjoyed our weekend stay at the bkue cottage! It was nice to have all our essentials available in the house as well as beach accessories in the shed! The property is quiet and tranquil and we enjoyed our time without our technology. I would definitely recommend this property and would come back again!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Little Blue Cottage! If anything, the photos don’t do it justice.Our son immediately claimed the front porch room, it was the perfect space for a teenager. We loved the eclectic collection of games and the charming décor. The cottage truly felt like a home rather than just a vacation rental.The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked with everything we needed to cook meals and had all the essential items we could have asked for.We also really appreciated the beach gear available in the shed, it made our trips to the beach so much easier.I noticed a few reviews mentioning the lack of Wi-Fi, but that’s clearly stated in the listing, so it wasn’t a surprise. In fact, it was nice to unplug for a while.The short walk to the private beach was one of our favorite parts of the trip. We had so much fun hunting for unique rocks, and we were treated to the most beautiful sunset we’ve ever seen.We would absolutely stay here again and 100% recommend the Little Blue Cottage to anyone looking for a cozy, relaxing getaway in South Haven.

This house is comfortable and charming. Inside there is every little thing you might need and outside is a quiet and comfortable place to read in the hammock or eat supper under the trees. The walk to the beach is good; the beach is wonderful; and we will definitely be back!

This was an extremely cute and quiet cottage to stay at. For my boyfriend and I alone or us and one other couple it would have been great! A few small children were tough though just due to size: the house is very small, as well as the shower. But so adorable. The one thing we struggled with was lack of service entirely. We were aware there was no WiFi- but if you have Verizon as a carrier know you will also not have any cell service here. We were unable to contact host for this reason during our stay with questions we had. The propane grill ran out of gas while we were using it, and one of my friends had to screw the shower head back on so we could use it. The pull out couch was broken at the foot end. I also hope that we checked out correctly as I couldn’t load my Vrbo app and there was no paper checkout checklist. Do not take this as a message to not stay here, however. I just wanted to leave an honest review so others are aware! Like I said, for my boyfriend and I alone we would’ve had a 10/10 stay: we were just entertaining a family with us which made it much different. It is an extremely cute, clean, and the beds are amazing!

Relaxing Getaway!

It is a quintessential cottage. As others have commented, the cottage was well stocked with everything needed to cook just about anything. It is just a short distance to the beach and easy to find your way to South Beach. We spent an entire afternoon and evening on the beach. Great photo op for sunsets.

This is a great place to stay. So peaceful and quiet. The house has everything you could possibly need and it's wonderful to have private beach access. It was just the right size for my husband and I. We'lddefinitely be staying again.

Very nice stay at Little Blue

We had a great time with our 17 month old twins at the little blue cottage. Overall a great place to stay outside of South Haven. Bonfire pit and private beach were great perks! If you’re staying here this summer, definitely bring mosquito repellent.

Great spot!

Some vacation rentals are pretty sparse with what's provided - this one had everything we needed! Great place with lots of bonuses (outside shower, grill, hammock, horseshoes, fire pit) and close to the beach. We had a great time!

Little Blue was great

The Little Blue cottage was a really nice for my family of 3. The house is very maintained and was very accessible upon check-in. The house is in a great location, right in the middle of South Haven and Sagatuck, which gives a lot of good options in the area. The beach was easy to access as well!

Why they chose this property

We bought Little Blue when our 3 children were very young. The lack of electronics and distractions brought our children to rediscover nature and the fun they could have with each other. The adventures in the woods, discovering wildlife, board games and uninterrupted family time. The possibilities are endless with No WI-FI or Internet.

What makes this property unique

Little Blue has recently refinished hardwood floors and a fresh coat of paint. Decks on the front and back make outdoor living easy. Central air conditioning makes this cottage very comfortable in summer months.
There is a horseshoe area, fire pit, hammock and shed withe beach toys, chairs and umbrellas.
A gas grill makes cooking outdoors easy.
