Beautiful home in a great location with a view that is second to none. Direct access to the lake for activities was amazing as was the ability to access the beach easily via the lake or a quick bike ride or walk. We will be back!

We had an absolutely incredible stay and can’t recommend this home enough! Being right on the dune lake with direct access to the beach was truly a dream. Waking up to the peaceful views each morning and being just steps away from both the lake and the Gulf made for the perfect vacation.The home was beautiful, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing week. The location simply can’t be beat, and we loved how easy it was to enjoy the beach while also experiencing the unique beauty of the dune lake.This was one of our favorite family vacations, and we’ve already decided we’ll be booking this home again next year. If you’re looking for the perfect Santa Rosa Beach getaway, this is it!

We’ve stayed at several different properties along 30A over the years and this has by far been our favorite! The location is perfect, giving you the best of both worlds with lake and beach front access. The house is beautiful, clean and comfortable. The bunk room for our 5 kids was a big hit! Added bonus having 2 washers/dryers, dishwashers and fridges. The garage is well stocked with everything we needed for the beach. The kids loved using the kayaks around the lake and fishing from the dock. Andra was a great host and easy to communicate with. We are already planning our next trip!

We had an exceptional time at burning daylight. The host provided us with excellent communication and our expectations were exceeded from the moment we stepped in this BEAUTIFUL home. The view, proximity to beach, amenities, and host sealed the deal on a perfect trip to seagrove :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Burning Daylight. The home is absolutely beautiful and very well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed and having access to beach chairs, paddles boards, etc. was greatly appreciated. The host was very quick to respond and the cinnamon rolls upon arrival were a thoughtful touch. We will definitely be back!

This home was ideal for our family. The bed in the primary BR now faces the lake, so when you wake, you're looking out on Eastern lake and seeing the fish jump! It was fun to have bags/corn hole and ping ping, and the kayak to use. Also, the convenience of being able to walk to the Beachy Bean for coffee or pizza was enjoyable. The walk to the beach was quick and easy too-such a great neighborhood, we'd love to return!

This house is fantastic! Adorably appointed, fully stocked with everything you will need, and in such a great location. You cannot beat the water views from every room and the high end finishes. You feel like you are sitting right on the lake. The host is very helpful and has truly made it feel like a vacation oasis. We appreciated that we didn’t need to bring a single thing for the beach and the use of all the lake toys made the experience so fun for the kids. Short walk to the beach was so easy with back pack chairs and large wagon. Everything feels new and clean. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

Great place to relax

Family loved this place and all its amenities. The bunk room was perfect for the kids. The queen beds upstairs left a little to be desired but still comfortable. Would stay again for sure!

Great Family Getaway

The house was perfect, lots of space for a family to enjoy. Kitchen is extremely well equipped. Paddling on the lake was fun. It was great to be able to get up every morning and take a walk on the beach.

Can’t overemphasize how well appointed this place is for groups, especially those including the children. The kitchen has everything you need to cook for large groups, from two refrigerators and dishwashers to high quality cooking utensils, knives, etc. The upstairs has a bunk room with multiple beds and a bathroom with multiple showers making it very easy for groups traveling with multiple children. We’ll definitely be back.
