Lovely place in a gorgeous little location, stones throw from a magnificent local pub and so many nice places to visit. The house is immaculately clean, has very peaceful outside space and is very well equipped with all the facilities you’d need. We had a lovely time, many thanks again.
A lovely little barn in a beautiful location. The village was lovely and quiet and the barn was just the right size for 2 adults and two teenage boys. Unfortunately we were unable to open the window in the room with bunk beds and so with two teenage boys, it got a bit stuffy. It was warm and cozy overall, we stayed in October. The location was ideal for trips out to places like port Isaac and padstow and polzeath and timetable, all being less than 30 minutes away by car. I felt the barn could do with a bit of a face lift and the mattress in the mezzanine had some springs that could be felt when laying on it. But this did not hinder our stay and reflected the very good price to stay there. I would certainly recommend this property for a small group, with the location and surrounding area, an absolute treat.

Woodland setting in a pretty village
Easy to find, beautiful village and excellent pub with very good food and friendly staff. Very convenient for visiting Port Issac without the problems of crowds and narrow streets/parking. a lovely coastal area for walks, some secluded beaches and inland, Bodmin moor. Wadebridge good for antique shops. Only downside was that the barn is right by the lane to the ford which is very busy very early as it is a cut through, and there is a huge modern farm close by which starts Machinery at 5 o’clock which you can hear! Only other potential problem for visitors is the upstairs double bed area has a very low ceiling and we are not tall! The benefits outweighed the few niggles.
A fantastic little property tucked away in a perfect little spot. You are no more than a stone's throw from the St Kew Inn and its great food, while being quiet and off the beaten track but with easy access to the Atlantic Highway making this place ideal as a base for visiting Cornwall.
I use the word 'little' in the title and although t is, it is spacious inside as good use has been made of the available space. Every appliance and convenience is supplied, inc washer, tumbler and dishwasher etc.
This would have received a 5 star review but for all the sheets and the overall place is clean and tidy, there were a number of cobwebs under the beds, on the windows and in the corners. Would it be rude of me to suggest the cleaner is a little more thorough next time!
However, this is a minor quibble and no way detracted from a wonderful spot and the fact we had a wonderful time.
I would definitely go again. Thank you.
This is a very pretty village and a lovely designed cottage. It well placed for exploring other locations in Cornwall. Whilst I would rate these aspects a 5*, as there were less than basic provisions (1 toilet roll, enough hand soap to last a couple of hours, just a few bin bags) and not the usual welcome cake, biscuits or bottle of wine that makes a holiday cottage so special, it meant the cottage was a little disappointing overall. Even just the basic provisions of sufficient soap, loo rolls and bin bags to last the trip would have made this feel like a much more warm welcoming experience. I would definitely recommend this cottage and am sure this was a just a blip in the normal service. If not, I would definitely recommend the owner provides these items to last the duration of the trip as well as offering a small welcome treat to make this a 5* experience.

Idyllic stay
We had a fantastic stay at Little Barn as our base for our first visit to Cornwall. Its a real gem & a perfect retreat in beautiful surroundings. St Kew itself is really well positioned, a great pub only a couple of minutes walk from the barn that is a must. The village is packed with fascinating history and makes for a great location to then explore most parts of Cornwall easily. Claire the owner was super to deal with too. We would most definitely book again. Thank you!

Lovely cottage in a pretty & peaceful village
We had a lovely time at Little Barn which is very close to family who live in the village. The cottage was well equipped for our needs and very comfortable. The weather was very kind to us also (February) and we were able to take the children & dog to the beach most days to make sand castles & fly the kites. We would recommend Little Barn and hope to come stay again.

Lovely little place in great location
Lovely little barn in great location with all the modern equipment you could need. Less than 15 minutes to Polzeath and other wonderful Cornish beaches and only a 3 minute walk through the churchyard to a super pub - the St Kew Inn. Quiet with plenty of parking plus beach equipment eg body boards and windbreak. Recommended.

Lovely stay in Little Barn
A super peaceful cottage, very well equipped, clean and comfortable. Just a couple of minor things that would have been helpful - instructions for operating the heated towel rail in the bathroom and full tv operating instructions. The only reason for not awarding five stars is the low ceiling on the mezzanine and lack of clothes hanging space in the main bedroom.

Very cozy barn in great environment.
Nice barn. Just big enough for our familie (6 persons). We liked the mezzanine as well, but make sure the people who want to sleep 'long' do not sleep there. Very quiet place. The environment and also the St Kew's inn are great!

Why they chose this property
The house is characterful and is comfortable and warm. The location in the heart of the village next to the stream, village church and close to the St Kew Inn is magical. Our children love having adventures in the woods, making dens and playing in the stream. It is a great place to unwind after a day at the beach or a long coastal walk.
