We had a wonderful time in Tideswell. The Nook was a cute, cozy house with all the amenities we needed, although with all the available places for dining and takeout, we did very little cooking. The countryside in the Peak District is breathtaking! We did not have a car so we took the local buses to many of the surrounding villages we wanted to explore. All in all, we were extremely happy we close Tideswell for our first visit to the UK.
Caroline the host was very helpful. The cottage is superb with everything one could possibly need. Warm, cosy and beautifully appointed.Would definitely recommend.
We had a lovely stay at The Nook over Christmas. It's wonderfully cosy and had everything we needed. The bedrooms especially were very comfortable and more spacious than we were expecting! The house was full of Christmas decorations which was a lovely touch. We also had a great meal at The Star on Caroline's recommendation - the pies were fantastic!
We had a great week in the peaks staying at the nook. Great location, beautiful local walks and plenty to see and do.
