Description: Welcome to Bear Dean, a charming 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom log cabin nestled in Seven Devils. The fully equipped kitchen provides the necessities to prepare a meal or, if preferred, cook outside on the grill. The main floor features the kitchen, living room, recreation room with pool table, primary bedroom, and bathroom. The open loft area offers more sleeping space with queen and full beds and the guest bathroom. Experience the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort where every moment promises relaxation and rejuvenation amidst nature's embraces or go on an adventure and enjoy all the High Country has to offer.

Amenities: Guests of the Lakes Community have access to stocked catch-and-release ponds and a playground and tennis courts in the Seven Devils Community.

Location: This cabin is located in quaint Seven Devils, on the same mountain as Hawksnest Snow Tubing and Ziplining, and centrally located to Boone, Banner Elk, Valle Crucis and Blowing Rock in the Foscoe area. The Seven Devils community offers public basketball and tennis courts along with a children's playground. The convenient location makes it just minutes away from all the High Country’s most famous attractions such as the Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls and Caverns, and Appalachian State University. If you are looking for winter sports there are several different options from Hawksnest Snow Tubing, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Beech Mountain Ski Resort, and Appalachian Ski Resort. Relax and enjoy the slow pace of the mountains and the fresh air or be adventurous and go hiking, fishing, biking, or sight-seeing. Some other things people enjoy are shopping, antiquing, skiing, golfing and miniature golfing, ziplining, go-karts, and gem mining.

Great place w/central location

Great place with a central location to all the local attraction. (Grandfather Mtn/Boone/Blowing Rock/Banner Elk) Comes with everything you may need for a short or extended stay. Our home is in a beach community and we thought the house was a little more secluded than it was, but very quiet neighborhood, great for any type of get away.

Great cozy cabin

Cabin was great! It exceeded all expectations. It’s situated in a nice quiet neighborhood with lots of trees. The fireplace is very nice and the cabin is stocked with lots of firewood. It makes for a very cozy experience. The location is great as it’s close to Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, and Sugar Mountain. The cabin is located on the same mountain where they have the largest snow tubing.

Quaint woodsy cabin

We really enjoyed our stay. Sooo quiet, good amenities, and the kids loved the pool table. TV seems to be just cable, not a smart tv, so just be aware if you have people in your party that care about such things. :). We just tossed the kids outside. ;)
