Kayla,
I'm so glad you felt safe and tucked away. We have tried hard to keep things, quiet & comfortable. All my best, Jennifer
Our family of three (plus a dog) spent a fantastic week at this lake house. It was the perfect place to come back after a day of boating. The home offers an amazing view, a well-equipped kitchen, and everyting was spotlessly clean. The wood finishes give it so much character, and the thoughtful details throughout were lovely. Te AC split was especially helpful on hot days.
Our second stay at this very special place was again spectacular. Such a welcoming and cozy cabin obviously built with love. Beautiful sunrises over the lake and lovely lights at night. Would love to return the next time we are in the area.
We loved Serenity Now! We really dig the rustic- modern vibe and setting. The location was great for exploring the region. We spent 5 days biking, kayaking, hiking, and sampling the breweries and wineries. We had a wonderful time and hope to return!
Perfect doesn’t cover it. Absolutely gorgeous and beautiful. Peaceful beyond words. Watched the ferry’s go by under a full moon was postcard quality. Everything in the cottage was handpicked and handcrafted, all custom wood furniture, peeled logs, gorgeous windows, and a beautiful fireplace.

Thank you for the kind review... I wanted to mention since your last stay we've installed A/C and done an additional bathroom remodel! A beautiful new glass shower surround gives us a much bigger and open bathroom. We hope you'll love it! See you soon!
My wife and I had a very relaxing week at Serenity Now. The process was very easy, the communication with Jennifer was completely professional and the property was beautiful.
I LOVE staying at Serenity Now!
Unfortunately, I was in area for a family emergency and knowing it was going to be a stressful period made staying at Serenity Now an easy decision.
Great place, even greater host and greatest peaceful of mind!
The home was beautiful, clean and well equipped and in a perfect location. The check-in process was seamless. We hope to return in the warm weather to take advantage of the lake. Exceeded expectations and highly recommend.
Serenity Now! Yada Yada Yada We had a great stay!!!
We had an amazing time at serenity now. The house was clean and beautifully designed, almost as if it were done by Art Vandelay himself. The location on the lake was absolutely perfect. Jennifer was so friendly and easy to communicate with and all of her tips and suggestions were great. Serenity now is a must stay.
Cute Property! My children LOVED sleeping in the cubby beds. Cozy and private. Access to the water, and Kayaks available to use, made the trip so much fun!

Jennifer was so accommodating, and made the whole process extremely easy. We loved our stay and can't recommend it enough!

About the host
Hosted by Jennifer
Ambitious and accomplished, we are an industrious duo that functions as a well-oiled machine. As high school sweethearts, we grew together on the shores of Lake Champlain, then journeyed to Washington D.C. for a fresh start. We have lived the urbanite dream for nearly three decades and raised a handful of ankle-biters (yes, five!). We escape to our special home often and would like to share it with others. When we receive great reviews about our "little slice of heaven", it truly warms our heart! We feel so delighted to share our special place with the world.
Why they chose this property
Twenty years ago we decided to purchase a cabin on beautiful Lake Champlain to be closer to family. Our family has spent every summer thru the years enjoying the ups and downs of transforming this once dilapidated cabin into a rustic retreat. Post-purchase, it quickly became clear that our hopes for spending time at a relaxing getaway were a bit misguided. This project-after-project lifestyle offered us the inspiration we needed to name our cozy lakefront cabin: an ironic, ‘Serenity Now’. Her name, derived from the comedic sitcom, Seinfeld, which once featured an overworked man exclaiming ‘serenity now’ amidst a variety of stressful circumstances. Our family, especially our five kiddos, found themselves affectionately adopting this phrase. With a herculean effort, we have transformed this challenging fixer-upper into a modern Adirondack-style escape. Every summer a major new project is adopted which has been a delightful surprise for our returning guests. We are exuberantly proud to share her with all of you.
What makes this property unique
Serenity Now is directly lakefront as opposed to many other local properties which often come with a road barrier to Lake Champlain. You will find the lake by opening french doors and following a beautiful slate walkway down to a second deck overlooking the lake. We have tried hard to preserve the authentic nature of our Adirondack cabin. Guests truly feel transformed to someplace magical and serene. At Serenity Now, you are surrounded by all things beautiful and rustic. Our home is clean, comfortable, and modern. There really is no "roughing it" despite the rustic surroundings and so we appeal to even the most discerning of vacationers.
