Elevated to capture stunning ocean views, yet close enough to the heart of town for a morning stroll for the papers and latte, The Grove is both intimate and convenient all at the same time. Set over three levels with U shaped design, the property has an expansive list of modern creature comforts. Enjoy the large wrap around front deck with glass balustrade taking it all in on those special sunny days, then escape to the protected rear courtyard when the sea breeze kicks in, or, simply kick back by the open fire a simply do nothing.
The Grove, unlike some holiday homes, is functional. The spacious bedrooms will make you want to sleep in, and as for the lounge, well you get the picture. Whilst well appointed, the property is not delicate, it feels homely with wood floors, white panel walls, sand stone feature wall and a lofted ceiling sun drenched open plan living area. Bedrooms are removed from the living spaces in the south wing. The upstairs master has ocean views whilst downstairs boasts a second master bedroom, separate lounge, kitchenette, en suite bathroom and deck. Other features include ample off street parking, air-conditioning and central heating throughout, infants room and established gardens. Warm, welcoming and charming, The Grove will give you, friends and family, a chance to kick back, unwind and get cozy.

All holiday accommodation bookings are accepted on the basis that all occupants will treat the property with the same respect as their own home in accordance with the “House Rules”. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited between 10pm and 8am.

We stayed with our adult kids over the extended long weekend in September. The bedrooms were all great sizes with 3 newly renovated bathrooms that we loved. The house is cosy and we used the open fireplace. The decking is sizeable and garden very peaceful. Ample spots for everyone to have their own space if they wanted.
House in a great location once you find it. Some signage would be handy on the property so you know it is the correct place. House was not overly clean. Spider webs everywhere, House had a musty smell. Bedding was inadequate. Sheet and thin doona. I had to sleep in trackies and hoodie on second night. Presentation of beds is poor. Doona too small for bed in main bedroom. No valance on bases of beds. Expected better for the amount $. One oven not working and the other oven not working properly. Bathrooms are excellent. View is amazing. If they spent a little money with presentation and making sure everything works then it would be worth the money. Would not stay here again.

We appreciate your concerns regarding the cleaning but feel this is a little unfair as you arrived a day earlier than expected and the housekeeper was still preparing the property for you, as you were due to check in the next day. Great Ocean Road Holidays
The property was open, light filled and spacious. Gorgeous views and an easy kitchen to work in with lots of plates, glasses, cutlery etc. Very comfy beds too!!
