The apartment had the space we expected and the location was great. However, the second bedroom was a small loft without heat though the master bedroom was spacious with a comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. The kitchen was disappointing since it had a gas stove without electric ignition, and we could not use a blow dryer with any appliance. The host was very responsive and helpful. Overall we did enjoy our stay and would certainly recommend staying there.
We loved our stay here! Property management was outstanding, location was very good, close to the main termini but far enough away from the hectic activity. Accommodations were as advertised, comfortable with good AC and very comfortable. We would return to this property again.
We enjoyed our stay in Rome. Host was friendly and offered us local recommendations. View over the balcony was pretty and loved sitting out there at the end of our day. Beds were very firm but we had no troubles sleeping.
Well located, large and sunny apartment. Owner was nice and gave us good recommendations for local eats, etc. Wi-fi was spotty. Overall a very nice stay.
Great property and location. The building is a bit old, however, that seems to be quite common Theme in Rome. Fantastic experience overall on this property.
The apartment is HUGE and in a terrific location. It's an old building and there was a little problem with the elevator, but it was resolved before we ever had to carry luggage up the stairs - phew! A little disappointed we couldn't use the balcony because a previous guest had taken the key, but overall it was a lovely stay.
My family needed all the space and the two washrooms since I have older parents. Our family stay worked really well! We were so comfortable and warm and in the perfect location. Being so close to the Termini helped us for when we had to catch our early trains to and from our next locations. The welcome was so warm and everything we needed to know was clearly laid out for us.
This was our first time to Rome. The apartment was centrally located, clean and very comfortable. The owner lined up a driver when we landed to bring us to the apartment and met us there when we got there. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this VRBO.
What an incredible picturesque property in fabulous Monti! A short pleasant walk from Termini and a working elevator at the end - yay!
Windows in every room that face onto a quiet street…cafes, restaurants, boutiques fill the neighborhood. The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed. I look forward to visiting again.
The location and size of this apartment were incredible. We loved that the bedrooms/bathrooms were on opposite sides, making it great for 2 couples or a small family looking for some privacy. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because the furniture needs to be replaced. The beds where hard as a rock and the couches/chairs have seen better days.

Tired environment
The apartment, located in the oldest area, within 15-20 minutes walk to many points of interest The apartment itself is spacious, however, furniture very worn and uncomfortable. There are two bedrooms/baths with one shower. The washer was great! The management staff friendly and accommodating.
The apartment was lovely and the host very responsive to our questions. We did have to pay 30 Euro for late checkin in (9 pm). The host also arranged transport from the airport to the apartment for 70 Euro. The apartment is close to the Collesum and 20 minutes to Trevi fountain.

TLC
This property was very central and clean but needs some TLC, photos are deceiving.
Location was great. representative met us at the location to give us keys. I mistakenly used our euros to pay for taxi and didn't have the city tax on hand to give her which I knew ahead of time was required at check-in. She was understanding and told me to just leave it on counter, which I did. Glad it had an elevator. Apartment was big and roomy. A/C's work great. Beds and pillows are hard but we still slept good.
We loved the property! It’s a beautiful, large, meandering property with lots of room to spread out. The two bedrooms and bathrooms were at opposite ends of the apartment. The decor was perfect, we felt we were in Italy! The view from the balconies was beautiful. The location can’t be beat. Restaurants and shops so close, the opera house , famous sites, the train and metro and bus stations so close. The property managers promptly answered our questions and arranged a pickup at the airport for us. Once orientated to the area we were easily able to take it from there. We spent Christmas in Rome and this apartment made it special!

Lovely spot but terrible shower that really ruined the experience
Great spot, good apartment but no water pressure once hot water eventually came through - seriously, 2 drops a minute from the shower rose. Made everyone grumpy and spoilt what would otherwise have been wonderful

Ciao Imogen,
unfortunately the low water pressure was due to a boiler problem so we promptly changed it with a new one! So no more water pressure problems in the apartment! Thanks

Special apartment in good location, but not in a good condition
We stayed for a week with 2 person end of August 2023. The heat did not bother us due to the air condition in the main room and bedroom.
The apartment has a good size and location in the city. With high ceiliings in a historic house with lift, it could be a five star location if it was better maintained. Unfortunately is is quite worn in general. E.g. dirty couch, toilet and shower courtain. Broken hooks in the bathroom, no coffee machine etc. which you can´t see on the pictures. We enjoyed our time in Rome anyway, but the apartment only deserves 3 stars.
THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLYThe good: host was very kind, very reachable and accommodating. She booked our airport transfers (rides) towels and bedding are clearly from Linen Company, as they were very neat and clean. Floors and apartment in general was clean. The bad: washer was out of order for our whole stay which was very inconvenient for a family of 5. We booked with washer as top priority. Beds and pillows were extremely hard, shower pressure practically non-existent The ugly: shower curtain was filthy and such an easy fix. Walls and doors were dirty and washing/painting easy fix. Large Armoire closet in hallway was unusable because it was stuffed full of old linens and a paper bag full of something else. The sponges were old and had mold on the bottom of them, which indicates that they are not switched out very often, and certainly not for each new .. easy fix again. And there was some cleaning solution of some kind left in an old water bottle up on the sink which we did not touch. There was a very strong smell of stale cigarettes up in the loft. After looking around a little bit for the smell, we found that some of the dislodged bricks in the wall above the bed where used as an ashtray from a former guest. A smaller bathroom has an unusable outlet that is embedded in a huge broken piece of glass on the wall. Additionally, the professional pictures of the apartment are deceiving in terms of size, but it's a lovely space that needs some TLC.

While the price for 2 adults and 2 children was the same as just 2 adults on Expedia. Once my refundable time limit was up , the property owners informed me that I’ll have to pay them directly, cash only, an extra 50 euro per child for the week I have booked. Great…… The guy who greeted us was very nice. The apartment is very dated, not like “cool ancient” furniture. More like find on the side of the road furniture. The carpet was old with stains. The temperature got down to the 40s every night (which is extremely cold for us Floridians). When I asked about the heater, I got excuses on why we didn’t need it. The remotes to the a/c units were removed also. So no heat, which my wife and I ended up getting really sick. Internet didn’t work, luckily they had a back up one for us. The refrigerator didn’t work, so all the food we bought went to waste. They said they were gonna send somebody to fix it. We ending up renting another apartment for a few days to get some heat, and when we got back, the fridge was still broken. The property is conveniently located, 15 mins or less of walking to get anywhere. Communication was great. The elevator worked, even though it’s extremely small. I’d personally never book here again, but you can give it a shot
