A spacious duplex (4 pax, 2 additional beds or cots on request) with a partly covered south-west loggia and access to a community pool, a large garden, barbecue and garden terrace with garden furniture.
Reached by exterior stairs, it comprises a sunny open plan sitting/dining room, a well equipped kitchen with 4-flames-cooker, oven, large fridge with cooler, a very good assortment of pots and pans, kitchenware, glases etc., and dishwasher. Furthermore 2 spacious twin bedrooms and a bathroom with two wash-basins. A cast-iron spiral staircase leads to a second living room with far reaching views over the surrounding countryside and pine forests. This second living room can also be used as an additional sleeping room with two beds.

Central heating in all rooms, cast iron fireplace in the living room.

The bedrooms have got 2 extra long very good beds (90x200 cm) which can be put together; furthermore built-in wardrobe, bedtables, bedside lamps,, one of the bedrooms a small desctop.

All floors are made from tone, granite and marble, kitchen and bathrooms are nicely tiled and provided with counters from granite and marble. There is central heating in all rooms, and a cast iron fireplace in the living room.

Nice secluded place

Nice apartment in a big style house with a nice swimming pool. It is very quiet as far away from everything which is nice and only 8 minute drive to some of the restaurants. As it is in the middle of nowhere there was a huge amount of flies and wasps by the pool

pros: schöne und zweckmäßig eingerichtete Wohnung in einer urigen Gartenanlage mit sehr ansprechendem Pool. schlüsselübergabe und Intro durch einen netten Hausmeister/Gärtner. Besonders nett: das Willkommenspackage mit Lebensmitteln und Getränken! Schöner Strand in Cana de Meca; Conil & Vejer als nächstgelegene Orte bieten Abwechslung cons: sehr einsam, min 4 km Schotterpiste von jeder Zivilisation entfernt ( in jede Richtung!) dh ohne Auto geht nichts, Fahrzeiten muss man also immer in Kauf nehmen, egal was man vorhat. Dies geht aus der Beschreibung leider nicht hervor. Preis/Leistung: eher teuer für die Gegend

Einladung zur Entschleunigung!

Wie jedes Jahr entfliehe ich den kalten und trüben Wintermonaten und komme schon seit 3 Jahren immer für fast 2 Monate ins "La Casita" zum überwintern. Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht und die Natur liebt ist hier in diesem herrlich idyllischen Fleckchen Erde genau richtig! Es ist einfach traumhaft hier und mittlerweile ist es schon wie nach Hause kommen. Danke an die Hausherren, dass ich mich in Ihrem grünen Paradies immer wie zu Hause fühlen darf!! Das La Casita ist ein gemütliches Appartement einfach zum wohlfühlen, an dem es an nichts fehlt, es ist top gepflegt von der guten Seele auf dem Grundstück (Danke, D.)!) und immer schon mit einem wohlschmeckenden Willkommens Gruss ausgestattet wenn man ankommt. Die Küche in der es an nichts mangelt, da die Hausherren selber wirkliche Gourmets sind und gerne kochen, lädt gerade zu ein sich jeden Tag ein herrliches Menü zu zaubern mit frischem Fisch, den man immer morgens in der Markthalle in Barbate bekommen kann. Im grossen idyllisch verwunschenen Garten, mangelt es nicht an herrlichen Plätzchen an dem man die Seele baumeln lassen kann, ob es die wunderschöne Dachterrasse unter den Eukalyptusbäumen ist die zum "La Casita" gehört, mit Blick in den Garten oder die Aussichtsplattform mit Blick in den nahegelegenen Nationalpark La Brena und den Kühen die dort genüsslich weiden, der Platz am windgeschützten Pool der bis Abends auch in den Wintermonaten zum sonnen einlädt … an Abwechslung mangelt es nicht in diesem herrlichen Garten und wer einmal diesen Orangensaft genossen hat, mag nie wieder einen anderen trinken;). Das Meer kann man sowohl mit einem herrlichen Spaziergang zu Fuß erreichen od. dem Auto in weniger als 10 Minuten. Die breiten endlos langen goldfarbenen Strände sind ein echter Traum und man kann wirklich kilometerweit laufen ebenso in dem nahegelegenen Nationalpark der an die Hobbits erinnert und in dem man so manche Tiere beobachten und hören kann. Eines der schönsten kleinen weissen andalusischen Dörfer "Vejer de la Fontera" trohnt auf einer nahe gelegenen Anhöhe und ist ebenso mit dem Auto in Kürze zu erreichen. Die Erholung und Entschleunigung ist garantiert, zumal man in den guten Betten schläft wie ein Murmeltier. Freue mich schon auf nächstes Jahr! I.D.

Wohlfühloase

Sehr sehr schöne Unterkunft ! Lange nicht mehr so gut untergekommen . Wir bewohnten von Ende September 2 Wochen lang la Casita , Alles tip top und sehr zum wohlfühlen & eigentlich auch länger bleiben . Ein sehr schöner großer Garten gehört ebenfalls zur Finca inclusive einem großen Pool . Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder !!

The Finca is set amongst fruit orchards and pasture in the green south of Andalusia, Province of Cadiz, between Vejer de la Frontera and Zahora, in beautiful landscape and only about 10 minutes by car from the wide golden beaches of the Costa de la Luz.

Situated in front of the nature park 'La Breña' with its pine forest, and surrounded by wide meadows with horses, cows, and goats, by fruit orchards and some farms and private houses, Finca San Ambrosio is a green oasis - birds twittering, the wind rustling in the Eucalyptus trees, the murmur of the stream...

It seems to be far away from it all, but in a ten minutes drive you can reach the 'White Village' Vejer de la Frontera. There you can enjoy the lovely white Moorish architecture, enchanted places with bars and cafes and spectacular views into the enchanting landscape. The lively seaports of Conil and Barbate with fish markets, restaurants, beach bars are also nearby, and of course the beautiful golden sandy beaches of the Costa de la Luz..

The main house of the Finca, a large Andalusian style Cortijo, is divided into 3 spacious apartments for 4-7 pax, the garden house into 2 smaller apartments (2-3 pax each), all with private terraces and separate entrances. Each apartment is equipped to a high standard.

A path through natural gardens leads to a pool (12x6 m) with terraces, sun beds and outside shower, a shaded upper terrace with garden furniture and a separate barbecue with al fresco dining place.

All apartments of Finca San Ambrosio can be rented separately, but the Finca is also very suitable for a large group or family, for holidays and celebrations. It offers a pleasant atmosphere with its large romantic gardens, and a lot of space to stay together or be on one’s own. 7 comfortable apartments accommodate up to 24 people.
