This lovely converted Granary has use of an outdoor pool and sleeps up to three people in one bedroom. The open landscape is perfect for cycling, bird watching, fishing and walking, The Quantocks, the Mendips and the cities of Bath and Wells .
The Granary is within the grounds of the owner's' extensive home and is a super holiday cottage. Pristine gardens conceal a solar heated plunge pool (available 1st May until end of August) which is shared with the owners. The living space is open plan with lofty ceilings, feature stone walls and glazed doors which look over the garden. From the neat kitchen, steep stairs lead to the bright and airy bedroom on the mezzanine which has a double bed and single bed for flexible sleeping arrangement but please note max occupancy is 2 guests.. Note: The solar heated pool is only available between May and August and is shared with the owners. Note: The Granary has steep, narrow stairs. Note: Maximum two guests. Regrettably babies and children from 0 to 6 years cannot be allowed. Note: The property and pool may not be suitable for people with limited mobility. Note: For any holiday between 1st September and 31st May, there is a heating supplement of £20.00 per week. Please note this property cannot accept pets but the owner does have a labrador on site. Town: Bridgwater is a popular destination with a shopping centre. Close to the Mendip Hills and the Quantocks, the town has historical buildings, a selection of restaurants and pubs and is notable for the Bridgwater Illuminated Carnival in November. Cheddar is a few miles away, as is Glastonbury. The wetland areas surrounding Bridgwater are known for wildfowl and birds. Nearby Shapwick Heath is an example of a wetland nature reserve worth a visit, as is the Steart Marshes on the Bridgwater Bay National Nature Reserve. Bridgwater offers a variety of activities and is conveniently placed for all visitors.
