What makes this property unique
Ground Floor:
Kitchen
Beautifully designed and thought out kitchen in a galley style. Ceramic hob and electric oven, dishwasher, microwave and hand painted shelving and units with an oak worktop. Views over the courtyard garden.
Utility room
Another useful room with a washing machine, iron, ironing board and clothes airer.
Bathroom
Contemporary style bathroom with bath and chrome shower over. WC and wash basin.
Dining room
Useful room with pine dining table and chairs, fridge, bookshelves with selection of cookery books. Coffee machine and CD player.
Sitting room
Elegant and stylish room with designer chair, footstool and leather sofa. Sideboard with large screen television with Freeview. Wood burning stove, bookshelves with good selection of books.
The Norfolk Winder stairs are enclosed, steep, curved and narrow, with carpet, an automatic light, rope and wooden hand rail.
First Floor:
Master bedroom
A pretty and romantic room with king-size bed, chest of drawers, chair, original cast iron fireplace (ornamental) and built in cupboard with hanging space.
Bedroom two
Two single beds arranged in an L shape.
Outside
The cottage is situated in a quiet loke with no passing traffic, with the great advantage of a fully enclosed courtyard garden. Outdoor furniture and barbecue.
Parking
The closest parking is about 120 yards up the High Street from the cottage - this is a pay and display car park. A few free spaces are sometimes available on the quay, and there is ample parking in the National Trust controlled Carsner car park by the channel, but beware during very high tides sections of this car park will flood. Alternatively the Village Hall car park is free, safe and reliable. Yew Tree Cottage is set back from the High Street, on a small loke. We recommend that you don't try to reverse into the loke to unload as it is very tight.
