VILLA TOSCANA BEGUR Cozy house with pool & large garden, close to Sa Tuna beach

Cosy house with private pool next to pine trees area. Fenced garden with sea view. Very close to Sa Tuna beach (12min walk) and Begur. Ideal for 4. Very nice porch area with barbecue and lounge in front of the pool. Various outdoor tables and places to relax. The garden surrounds the house and there are several fruit trees and lavender. Areas of sun and shade. Sheets, towels and taxes included.

The house is surrounded by a large fenced garden. Very good location, very close to Sa Tuna beach (12 min. walking) and also close to Begur (a couple of minutes drive or about 18 min walk). Perfect to stay at home and relax in the garden and pool or get to the close beaches (like Sa Tuna, Sa Riera, Aiguablava or Aiguafreda) or beautiful Begur. The house consists of two double bedrooms, a bathroom (newly renovated) and a toilet. The garden has different levels and spaces, with shade and sun. The house has a barbecue area, with table under the porch, in front of the pool. There is also a large sofa-lounge, perfect to relax or read a book. In the back garden there is another outside table with plenty of space and really nice views to the sea. It limits to the forest, so it is very nice to have dinners or lunches here. The house has wifi, washing machine, microwave, towels, sheets and basic elements (toilet paper, oil, salt, etc.).

The garden surrounding the house consists of different terraces and we have lavender and some young fruit trees. It depends on the time of year you come, you can see some trees in flower and we had our first oranges and lemons this year! All spaces are for private use.

The house is completely independent, on a plot of a thousand meters that surrounds it. The house is located close to the "Camí Vell" of Sa Tuna, a forest walk from Begur to Sa Tuna beach. It is a pleasant path that allows you to walk to the village or to Sa Tuna. The house plot borders a forest area. Ideal to relax but at the same time very close to the best beaches of the Costa Brava, such as Sa Tuna, Sa Riera, Aiguablava or Aiguafreda. You can walk to Sa Tuna (about 10/12 minutes). Sea views from different areas of the garden. A drive to Barcelona takes about 1:30 h and to Girona about 45 m, both worth day excursions! Not more than 20 min away you have many nice villages to visit and even Dali spots.

Cosy villa, but no aircon

Good location with short distance both to Sa Tuna beach and Begur center. Car is a must even though parking places are limited.With several days 30 degrees makes it hard to sleep during the nights, when no cooling is available inside the villa. Swimming pool is enough to get cooled during the hot days.

Wonderful house in perfect location

We had a wonderful time in Begur/Sa Tuna. The location of the house is within walking distance to Begur and also to the beach in Sa Tuna. Both places are beautiful. The house itself is lovely decorated and has everything you need for a pleasant stay. The pool and the garden/chill areas are definetly a big highlight. You can always choose between sunny spots or places in the shadow. Laura is a perfect host. The welcome was really nice. She was giving tips and her responses to questions was really fast. Laura is very supportive especially if an urgent question occurs. Thanks a lot for this wonderful holiday!

Price-and-return mismatch

We had a great time in Sa Tuna/Begur. Nice location, beautiful area. Beach in walking distance and nice villages within 20 min. driving. We will definitely visit the area again. Given high season pricing the house was somewhat disappointing. Garage and whirlpool did not exist, seaview only from some corners of the property. We found a used tissue under the bed upon arrival, some used glasses in the kitchen cabinet which gave us some doubts about the cleaning effort. For a family with smaller children it is nice, for adults the room with the double bed can be a challenge. That interiors were old and simple is ok but we felt that the walls could use a fresh paint and also the yellowish light switches from the seventies could be replaced at some stage. That we had to buy a cork screw and coffee machine as the existing one was clogged was a surprise.Toaster had a crack, washing machine tricky to open. I am sure a bottle of water in the fridge upon arrival would be much appreciated by most visitors. Most issues would be easy to fix with little effort, but as is the accommodation felt somewhat neglected or maybe we were just unlucky at the end of the high season.

If we only had heard this, we would have replaced it immediately. The cleaning company is very professional and we have not received any complaints about it, this said, we have informed them about the tissue found. We are painting whole house this winter and double cheking like every winter, if there is anything that needs replacement. Gemütliches kleines Haus so ziemlich auf halbem Weg zwischen Begur und dem Strand in Sa Tuna, beides ist fußläufig erreichbar, auch wenn es schon recht steil ist. Mitten im Pinien-Hain gelegen bietet der Außenbereich Schatten oder Sonne den ganzen Tag, je nachdem wo man die Liege hinzieht. Das Haus ist nichts für luxuriöse Ansprüche, sondern das Richtige, wenn man in bodenständiger Atmosphäre entspannen will. Laura, die Vermieterin, ist klasse. Wir haben besonders die Außen-Feuerstelle gefeiert.

Prettig verblijf

Het huisje was erg mooi gelegen. Wel wat gedateerd voor wat betreft de keuken met n aanrechtblad dat niet meer in goede staat was en de badkamer waarvan 1 lampje kapot was en het bad niet erg fris meer was. Dus prijs/kwaliteit kan wat beter, maar al met al n fijn huisje maar dat wel wat modernisatie nodig heeft.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus in Begur

Wir (2 Personen) durften eine Woche in dem traumhaften Ferienhaus verbringen. Das Haus ist sehr komfortabel und gut ausgestattet. Der Pool sorgte für angenehme Abkühlung. Bei der gemütlichen Veranda verbrachten wir die Abenden und genossen unsere Privatsphäre. Laura ist eine tolle Gastgeberin und antwortete immer super schnell. Schöner Urlaub in Begur

Wir verbrachten 2 sehr schöne Wochen in Sa Tuna . Das Haus ist wirklich schön , besonders der Garten ist wie beschrieben . Check in und Check out sehr unkompliziert dasHaus war gut gereinigt . Allerdings müssen wir schon wohlwollend nur einen Stern abziehen da die Einrichtung des Hauses insbesondere die Sanitäreinrichtungen in die Jahre gekommen sind um es vorsichtig auszudrücken . Hier passt das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis leider nicht so ganz .

Toch teleurstellend

Het huis behoeft een grondige renovatie. Het keukenraam is nodig aan vervanging toe, keuken kan een upgrade gebruiken en koelkast is echt vies aan de buitenkant. De badkamer is gedateerd, douche in een oud bad, niet helemaal schoon. Wastafel lijkt nieuwer te zijn, toiletpot op badkamer zit gewoon los en wiebelt als je erop zit. Dekens van de bedden zijn heel muf en al lange tijd niet gewassen. Kussens van matige kwaliteit. Buitenruimte bij het zwembad is leuk, mooi zwembad. Wordt met regelmaat goed onderhouden. Buitenruimte aan de andere kant van het huis is een waardeloze ruimte. Zonde, hier is geen aandacht aan besteed. We hadden dit verblijf geboekt afgaande op de recensies en zijn toch teleurgesteld in de prijs/ kwaliteit verhouding. Jammer dat er niet meer aan onderhoud van het huis wordt gedaan.

Begur im Herbst

Wir waren als Familie , Kinder 8 und 11 Jahre zu Gast bei Laura . In allem war das Haus und Außengelände wie beschrieben . Für das Geld hätte ich hier und da mehr Pflege des Objektes erwartet. Der Pool war mit das Highlight, besonders wenn man Kinder hat. Sind trotz alledem zu einigen Stränden , Tapas essen gewesen in Begur und in Pals einen tollen Supermarkt gefunden. In allem eine schöne Woche.

Ein schöner Urlaub in Sa Tuna / Begur an der Costa Brava

Das Ferienhaus entspricht zu 100% der Beschreibung, es war alles vorhanden was man für den Urlaub benötigt und im einwandfreien Zustand. Die Lage ist perfekt für die Region: Sehenswürdigkeiten, Strände, Supermärkte und nette Restaurants und Tapasbars sind in der Nähe. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich Laura. Sie ist eine sehr nette Gastgeberin und hat uns mit einem sonnigen Lächeln und einer Flasche Sekt empfangen, so kann der Urlaub anfangen. Lauras Empfehlungen und Tipps, auch in Form einer Urlaubsmappe im Ferienhaus, hat uns den Aufenthalt vor Ort noch schöner gestaltet. Auch die Angestellten zur Reinigung des Pools und des Gartens waren sehr freundlichen und erledigen ihre Arbeiten fast unsichtbar. Einziger negativ Punkt, der Urlaub geht zu schnell vorbei. :-) Danke nochmals an Laura die immer für uns Erreichbar war, wenn wir noch Fragen hatten.

Maison très agréable pour un couple avec ado : notre fille a adoré le coin banquette à l'extérieur ! Terrasse au top. 15 mn à pied de sa tuna, et belles plages à proximité en voiture, comme les magnifiques villages de Begur, Pals, .... bref, maison bien située, environnement magnifique et l'accueil chaleureux de Laura : on recommande !

JARDIN ET TERRASSES SUPERBES

Les extérieurs de la maison sont très beaux : jardin, piscine, terrasses aménagées. Pour aller à la plage de Sa Tuna il faut 20 minutes à pied (et pas 10 minutes comme annoncé). Nous aurions apprécié une climatisation, un grille pain et une table d'extérieure plus confortable. Nous avons vraiment apprécié de découvrir en arrivant une bouteille d'eau au frigidaire et une bouteille de vin local. Merci à Laura.

Lovely September Weekend

We brought our dogs to stay with us at this lovely house. Laura was incredibly helpful and provided a lot of tips and information that helped us enjoy the area. She even made a dinner reservation for us the first night when we were going to be checking in late. The house is walking distance from both Sa Tuna and Begur, and an easy drive to other beaches and sites in the area. The garden, patio and pool offered us a lovely escape from the city for the long weekend.

Au-dessus des criques de Begur

Excellent séjour dans cette maison très bien équipée et très bien située avec une vue magnifique sur la vallée qui mène à la crique de Sa Tuna et proches de plusieurs autres superbes criques. On descend à pied à la plage de Sa Tuna en 20 minutes sans ce presser. On peut aussi monter à pied en 20 minutes par un chemin pédestre jusqu'au charmant village de Begur. Cette maison n'est pas toute neuve: les portes grincent et on entend ce qui se passe dans les autres pièces, mais si cela ne vous gêne pas, vous passerez de très bons moments ici. Le jardin est très agréable, à plusieurs niveaux avec une vue différente depuis chaque perspective. L'accueil est sympathique et on trouve un guide d'excursions très bien conçu par la propriétaire.

Why they chose this property

Begur is special. The village and its restaurants and shops are wonderful, very well preserve and charming. The beaches around are unique, specially nice to snorkel or relax. The house is so well located, you can walk to Sa Tuna, and if you want, even to Begur. This said, the house has its private pool and garden, so it is also perfect to stay home and enjoy from a bbq or dinner in front of the illuminated pool.

What makes this property unique

The house is very well located but at the same time very independent, so you do not have almost neighbors. Located in a pine tree area and with many fruit trees in the garden, you can enjoy a natural environment.
