Lovely 2 bedroom apartment, luxurious standard, in the very best Royal Mile location. Views onto Royal Mile. Every mod convenience. Designer fabrics, wallpapers, free wifi, internet tv, underfloor heating. Secure entry. Cosy & comfortable. 200 yards from Edinburgh Castle

This apartment can accommodate a maximum of 6 persons. There are two bedrooms; 1 king size double en suite with TV, one twin/double (can be configured either way at guest request), Double sofa bed in livingroom, 2nd bathroom. Bedrooms are peaceful and quiet at night. Open plan fully equiped kitchen/dining/livingroom with 3 windows looking directly onto Royal Mile/Lawnmarket. All windows in the property are double glazed. Bathrooms have under floor heating. There is gas central heating and free wifi. The property retains great period features; old stone fireplaces, exposed ancient stone walls; and yet provides all modern conveniences and striking decoration.

Situated in the historic Old Town of Edinburgh, this is the best place to stay in the city. The Old Town is a World Heritage site. Steeped in history, packed with museums, visitor attractions, specialty shops, restaurants and pubs. Edinburgh castle is 1 minute walk from your front door. This area of the city has a real buzz and is a joy to explore. This apartment is however in a peaceful location late at night with no nightclubs or noisy pubs. This a great place to stay anytime but a prime location during the Edinburgh Festival/Fringe or at New Year.

Beautiful flat in a wonderful location-right on the Royal Mile and close to the castle. The flat was beautiful and had all the amenities we could want. Paul was quick to respond to questions. Excellent location right on the Royal Mile just a short walk from all the major sights, especially the castle. We were there during the Fringe Festival and Military Tattoo and we had the most incredible view out our windows of the bands and pipers marching out each night. The apartment was clean, large, and modern with ample room for four women. The one thing to be aware of is that the only access to this fourth floor property is a stone spiral staircase so carrying suitcases up and down is an adventure.

The apartment was recently renovated and in excellent condition. It was clean and well kept. The location is the best. Right in the center of town. Street entertainers perform right in front and can watch from the windows. Probably the only drawback is that it is on the fourth floor with no elevator.

Spacious apartment with updated bathrooms and a washing machine and nice kitchen. The view and location are amazing, especially if you are visiting for Fringe Festival, as we were. You will hear street noise at night if the windows are kept open. The beds are hard and not very comfortable. The pull-out couch bed is very, very uncomfortable. The apartment is a climb of 70 narrow spiral stairs to the 4th floor. No joke with luggage. It is very close to the castle and an easy 12 minute walk to Waverly Station.

This is the perfect spot if you want to be in the action of the Royal Mile. Great pubs just downstairs. Beautiful view. Lovely late at night when the streets empty out a bit.

Wonderful accommodations in a perfect location! Our family of four wanted to be in the heart of it all and could not have asked for a better spot. The apartment is spacious with every modern convenience and the owner was very responsive and helpful. The winding, medieval staircase is daunting, but the views of the Royal Mile are worth the workout!

What a place and location!!

We really enjoyed our stay and great communication from our host. The apartment was in the best location and was super nice. We were even able to look out the window to see King Charles. We were also just steps from the castle to see a concert. Really enjoyed our stay. Bravo for a great flat.

A great location and a very nice apartment. We had a very nice stay. Wouldn’t recommend it for anyone with mobility issues as the stone stairs are quite steep and four flights. Would recommend it

Perfect location to explore Edinburgh

This apartment it self was absolutely perfect for us to be able to walk everywhere we hoped to go in 3 days. The only problem was navigating the stairs with suitcases. Paul was very accommodating and his Vrbo was immaculate, extremely comfortable and the view was amazing.

Ideal Edinburgh Kocation

We had an excellent time in Edinburgh. The location could not be better. It was in the heart of activity, close to the Castle, shopping and services on the Royal Mile. We were within walking distance of everything. The owners were on top of it. The home was well equipped, organized, clean and comfortable. It was a great vacation location for the entire family.

In Town for a Wedding

This property was perfect for our family of 4 in town for a wedding at Hopetoun House. I was initially concerned about potential noise from the street but it gets very quiet at night and it was quite peaceful. The apartment is lovely and updated. Thanks Paul for the early check in.

Great location on the Mile.

Very nice apartment. You can walk everywhere in historic Edinburgh from here. Pubs, restaurants and shops close by. Ensign Ewarts pub right out the front alley is a great place to have a drink at the end of a busy day. You do have to walk up four flights of stairs but they are stone circular stairs that remind you of walking up into a castle with every step. So have fun with it. Would definitely stay here again.
