The location is fantastic, close to everything you want to see and do in Rome. Being in an active and fun location does come with the usual noise of late night excitement and trash pick up at 3 am. Easy to overlook for what the location brings. If this is an issue bring ear plugs. I would stay here again.
The host and Flavio were helpful in every predicament I encountered. Hospitality is in their DNA. The property was clean and well priced for the location. If you decide to stay in Trastevere this charming retreat is off the beaten path and lends itself to an authentic and restful stay in this bustling neighborhood. Tony
I really liked the place. Had everything i needed inxluding washing machine. Bed was comfortable. Layout was nice. Shower was tight, otherwise the bathroom and kitchen suites our needs. Host company replaced broken hairdryer quickly
Lovely spot with just enough room to not feel like you’re living on top of each other. Air-conditioning was a HUGE plus as temps were in the 97-99 range. Up a flight of stairs - not cumbersome, but something to note for anyone with mobility challenges. Lots of restaurants (and gelaterias!) within just a 5 minute walk. Taxi/uber pick up also just 3 minutes away (and I’m a slow walker). PROS: 1. air conditioning!! 2. plenty of outlets3. neighborhood is generally quiet, but has a great energy come evening (not super loud where we were; the best of both experiences)4. comfortable bed and soft linens5. easy communication with host6. Lots of good restaurants within a quick walk; good for tired feet who’ve been sightseeing all dayCONS: 1. garbage/recycle trucks come through at about 4:00am, and since there is a restaurant next door, there’s a lot of glass which is especially loud when being dumped
We stay in that apartment october 7th through october 13. We had wonderful stay? Simone welcomed us with complementary rose wine and aperetivo? Apartment have the best location with walking distance to the most amenities. Apartment stock with all necessary kitchen supply that make our stay even more comfortable. Area full of restaurants and grocery stores. Very clean apartment with clean bathroom. We enjoy our Rome stay and stay in this apartment make it even more enjoyable. If we will return ti the Rome again we will stay at this apartment. Thank you Simona. You were the beat host.
Trastevere is the ideal base to expore Rome. After a day of serious sightseeing, it was wonderful to explore the local streets for excellent restaurants close at hand.
We arrived much later than planned due to airline issues but our greeter, Federico was incredibly helpful. Although we were 8 hours later than expected, he still met us with a smile and a warm welcome. The flat is ideal for two with all the facilities you need. The bed is very comfortable and the flat is spacious. The shower works fine, but is looking a bit sad and could do with an upgrade. And there is a definite smell of damp in the bathroom. But none of this was a problem. We had a great time and would recommend to others.
Our experience was not only far below expectations but ultimately cost us additional money to get taxis and find another location to stay in the beginning of our trip due to multiple unacceptable and uninhabitable conditions. We checked in at approximately 4:30 PM — already an hour and a half after our scheduled check-in — only to find that the rental had not been cleaned. The doorman informed us that we would need to vacate the unit for over an hour to allow the cleaners to clean up. Unfortunately, what followed made it clear that the issues extended far beyond housekeeping delays. We were shocked by the state of the rental. There was shaving cream smeared all over the shower, full trash bags, rotten and moldy food left in the refrigerator, dirty floors and bed — all of which we have documented in the attached photos. The most serious issue, a completely non-functional air conditioning. It was stuck at a sweltering 33C (91.4F) and never improved. When we raised this concern to the doorman right away, his response was simply, “I’ll come back in the morning.”Morning comes and after a full-day excursion, we returned that evening to find the unit even hotter than before — it was cooler outside than it was inside. We informed them and left the keys. This area is beautiful but save yourself the headache. We never slept due to the heat and we were charged 2 nights. Also- trying to get in the door with the key is a nightmare!

Lovely apartment, great location but noisy piazza below
We enjoyed our stay with a couple of caveats. The second floor apartment wasn't high enough to save us from the small but busy piazza below. We could hear conversations thru 2 or 3 in the morning--bring your earplugs. The a/c was not functional (or perhaps it was the electric system, we were never sure). If the a/c had worked or if you come in the cooler months, you might be sparred from choosing between opening the windows for cool air or closing them to keep the noise out.
The woman who checked us in and gave us the keys did a perfunctory job--she didn't show us where kitchen equipment was and didn't know enough about the electrical system to figure out that the wifi and hairdryer were not working because of that. Beautiful apartment and right next door to the ponte Sisto.
You should probably ask for two sets of keys if you are not alone. We neglected to ask and had to get by with one set for the two of us.
Emiliano tried hard to please but seemed stumped by the a/c. He is not the owner but rather a manager for the owner. We also asked for airport pickup which didn't happen. More attention by management would really improve this rental.

We place great importance in makign sure our guests know that we are always available for any issues that might arise and I promptly stopped by the apartment when Laurie mentioned issues with the haidryer which turned out to be a non-issue due to a turned off general switch. Having solved this Laurie assured me that everything else was fine in the apartment and when she called later for some information regarding the kitchen equipmend I esplained to her which kitchen drawers to look into. I would gladly have provided a second pair of keys had this been mentioned. The location of the apartment is in the heart of Trastevere, a bustling neighbourhood famed and loved for its colourful atmosphere.
This apartment is in the heart of the local area with bars, restaurants, and activity. It was an easy walk to all of the tourist spots and felt very safe. The apartment was comfortable and clean. The best of the authentic restaurants were in this area.

Excellent location and very nice apartment! Host helped us with airport transfer and tours. All went
We never met Emiliano, but he was in constant contact with us to help meet all our needs. He arranged a driver from the airport, helped with tour guides, and gave good restaurant recommendations. The location was excellent for touring Rome and the apartment was very nice with everything we needed. We like Trestavera, good nightlife and restaurants

Great location and spacious apartment
The apartment is in a great part of the city, easy access to everything we wanted to do. The AC didn't work for our first two days, which meant sleeping with the windows open and hearing street noise most of the night. It would also be helpful to have some basic cleaning products in the kitchen, paper towels, dish soap and a few napkins. I would have allowed us to keep the kitchen nicer. Otherwise would definitely rent again.

We would have been more than happy to solve the issue with the AC quicker had we known of it sooner, though we're glad we managed to solve the issue during the stay of our guest so as to ensure full comfort at all times. We always provide basic kitchen necessities and had we known that they were missing/had run out we would have made sure to bring them by right away.

Anniversary Stay in Rome
My husband and I stayed at this property as part of our anniversary trip. The inside of the property provided everything thing we needed. We had an issue with the shower and hair dryer when we first arrived. Once I notified the management company the problem was resolved by the time we returned from exploring for the day. The location is good. It is right by the river. During the summer a market is set up by the river which was really wonderful to explore (restaurants, shops, arcades and art exhibits). We could walk to most places. Granted the walk was often far, but that was fine with us. It isn't near any metro stations. Not sure about buses. However, the taxi line was a few short steps away. The apartment is near a very happening area at night. The Piazza is busy as are the bars. This equates to noise and trash. The noise is bearable. The trash seems to be par for Rome, but not what we are use to at home.
The washer & dryer is actually just one machine that does it all. That wasn't explained to us by the assistant who let us in. She didn't know the machine dried which, unfortunately, we found out the hard way. I would suggest they have some instructions on how to use the machine.
