The home is a short level stroll to the harbour and excellent travel links of the lively coastal town of Penzance. Many shops, galleries, restaurants and pubs and supermarkets are within a short distance of the property. The wider local area is easy to travel to as train, bus, ferry or helicopter links are all within walking distance. With numerous local beaches, bays, coves, megalithic sites, small towns and villages to explore or the Isles of Scilly if you are more adventurous! The apartment was refurbished to a high standard and is fully equipped with everything you would expect in this home away from home!
This ground floor apartment boasts 2 bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x twin plus an extra foldout guest bed, Living room with TV, Hifi & DVD, Dining area, Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Kitchen with washer-dryer, enclosed rear courtyard, Front sea-view picnic area.
No parking on the property - There is free on street parking which is sometimes hard to find but there will be a space somewhere nearby.
National and regional train and bus stations are very close to the property as are ferry and helicopter services to the Isles of Scilly. This makes public transport a very good option for your trip.
No stairs - You could stay on the level you enter the building but steps are required to enter. Entry via the rear could be arranged for step free entry.
No smoking
Dogs are welcome with prior consent and a small charge due to extra cleaning required. You must also adhere to the rules in the house manual. Please contact us with the details prior to making a booking if you wish to bring one with you.

So close to the train station and shops/resturants! Easy place to stay without a car. The host was quick to respond with any questions we had. Highly recommend!
A lovely seaview property, morning were great with the weather and views. Bumped into the owner onday, lovely guy and easy to chat to. Location it was good for food and pub, plus most places were a 15 to 30 mins drive away.

It's very close to the train station and bus routes. The kitchen was well stocked and the place was spotlessly clean. My only problem was with the traffic noise outside, which the owner can't control! All in all, highly recommended.
Lovely home. Very responsive and kind host. Excellent location for access to public transportation. Very relaxing to sit in comfortable living room and enjoy the sea view and a cup of tea and a biscuit which were generously provided.
Perfect location for exploring Penzance or hopping on a bus or train to another area. House was spotless and had everything we needed. Loved our stay there.
This apartment is well situated for the train and bus station which enables you to travel round the area easily. Wonderful view from the front window to St Michaels Mount and is very clean and has everything you need. Would highly recommend it.
Clean, well appointed, great location, 5 minute walk from railway and bus stations, shops, and restaurants. We got immediate help for a problem we were having, really enjoyed our stay.
Lovely property and offered all that it says. Central for travelling by bus and train as 5 minutes from the bus and train station. We did not drive so this was ideal. Simon kindly stocked us up with the basics for the first day or two with Milk, tea, coffee and buiskets so we had what we needed until some groceries were delivered. Thank you Simon, we had a wonderful week and were very comforable during our weeks stay x
The view over the St Michael Mount is a blast! The apartment is nicely furnished and very well maintained. We cooked regularly and found all we needed.

This flat felt much more spacious than the stated square footage. Would definitely stay again. The location was perfect for us without a car- we could walk everywhere in Penzance. The bus station is right next to the train station. It was very easy to catch a bus to Mousehole for lunch. We splurged on a private guided tour of "Stones and Bones" with Kernow Tours- worth every penny. The flat has all the information you need (maybe add an explanation for the shower), but it was odd to have no communication from the owner during our stay. In VRBOs from New Zealand to Italy, we've always had a text checking that we got in okay and encouraging us to call/text if we need anything. We were fine, but we missed the personal touch.
Lovely relaxing couple of days away. You are greeted to a beautiful view across the bay to St. Micheals Mount. The house was clean and well maintained. I didnt like the heating/hot water being controlled remotely and being locked out of it as it was a bit chilly in the evenings there and water could have done with being hotter personally.
Check in time was late (5pm) so with no where in Penzance to leave your bags it is very inconvenient but after a quick message they let us leave our bags earlier. Same with check out, we were out by 10am and we cheekily left our bags so we could spend our last few hours exploring and they happily obliged again.

Thank you for your comments. The heating goes into eco mode when the property is empty so this may account if you couldn't adjust it at all. We are sorry if that happened. We do try to stop that from happening and set it to comfortable levels but may have missed it on that occasion.
You will be happy to know we now have a storage facility for luggage to be left by our guests if required.

My two daughters and I chose Channel View for the lovely sea view and we weren't disappointed. We had the Ground Floor apartment, which was equipped for four with one large double-bedded room and one twin-bedded. The lounge, kitchen and bathroom were very modern and well-equipped. Whilst there is no specific parking space, my daughter always found a gap in one of the side roads so no problem. Touring from Penzance is easy with a local map and we had a lovely week touring around the beaches, especially liking Praa Sands, Sennen Cove and St. Ives. We also visited Falmouth, The Lizard and Lands End, where we enjoyed the music and fireworks display (every Tuesday and Thursday night). Penlee Gardens, Penzance, have an outdoor theatre with a wide variety of entertainment throughout the season. Last but not least, you will like the nice owner - Simon - who is very helpful and easily contactable on his mobile phone.
All locations are compromises. We feel that this location provides a good balance for experiencing Penzance. Right on the main road into town, but the apartment layout keeps things reasonably quiet. Not far from the train station, although some might say its presence detracts a bit from the view. Not close to grocery stores but a visit is accomplished with a reasonable walk. Not close to many restaurants but again accomplished with a brisk walk. No parking on premises, but we always managed to find an on-street spot each day in the neighborhood behind the apartment. And if no spot, the long-term parking is just down the road. The bedrooms are acceptable, but the star of the apartment is the living room with its lovely view of Mounts Bay and its overall feeling of comfort. The apartment owner responds quickly. Be sure to take advantage of this. The TV did not work properly during our stay, but in fairness we were too busy to care and never inquired about it. Overall, recommend without reservation.
Die Ferienwohnung liegt direkt an einer Straße, das war ja auf den Bildern zu erkennen. Jedoch war die einzige Straße, die in den Ort führt. Und dahinter gleich der Bahnhof. Somit war selten Ruhe. Desweiteren wurde die Wohnung mit "Parkplatz vorhanden in der näheren Umgebung" angeboten. Erst nach Bezahlung kam der Hinweis doch den kostenpflichtigen Parkplatz am Bahnhof zu nutzen, da nach 16Uhr selten kostenlos was zu finden ist!An Vorder-und Hintereingang waren Kameras abgebracht, man fühlte sich sehr überwacht

We bought the property for our family as we live away and have numerous links with the area so visit frequently whenever we can. Its ideal to hop on the train and get away to this lovely little town at the end of the line!
