Relax in tranquillity or walk from the door over surrounding grassland to Linacre Reservoirs and Nature Trails. Moors, escarpments and panoramic views are 3 minutes away. A short drive takes you to Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and Hardwick Hall. Historic market towns include Chesterfield, Bakewell, Matllock and Matlock Bath. Riding, golf, fishing and sports centre, 3 miles away. Shop 2 miles, pub ¼ mile.

What a beautiful cottage.

What a beautiful cottage. Very spacious and everything you need for a good holiday. The landlord is very helpful and kind. Very good value for money. We hope to be able to go back again. Can't fault it in any way.

Lovely cottage.

Lovely cottage. Very well stocked. Beautiful surroundings. Very quiet. Set well back from the road, never heard any traffic though we didn't sit outside! The owner, Mr Green, was very helpful. The local scenery was lovely. All in all, thoroughly enjoyable and we will be back. Only little moan i can think of was the shower water pressure was a little slow, didn't stop us using it though!

Excellent location managed to do a different walk every day - was not overly busy so that for us was good as we are all social distancing - all though very rural we were only 3 miles from Chesterfield so good for groceries etc - owner of the cottage was very pleasant too!
