Hi we have been there I think 5 times now and it is a great place to stay. If I had the money I would buy it. There is one little thing and that is the screws holding down the carpets , the screws are to high and can damage feet, shoes etc. I hope to come again in 2 years time.

Cottage was ideally situated a short walk from my parents that live in the village.
Cottage was ideally situated a short walk from my parents that live in the village.
The cottage was clean and basic and ok to used as a base. There was no wifi unfortunately, which our lads were not happy about, but there was a nice small garden to let our elderly dog wander around.
Just a couple of things to point out, the key safe is located by the back door and not the front as it states. Also a few more extension leads may be a wise addition as the sockets aren’t very accessible in the front bedroom. These may have been removed due to the Covid-19 situation, as they would be additional touch points. Also, I think we may have been the first party into the cottage since lockdown was lifted, and the back bedroom in particular did smell a bit musty. Maybe a little more airing needed!

We definitely enjoyed our stay in Peasholm.
We definitely enjoyed our stay in Peasholm. The cottage is cosy , has enough space for 2—4 people ( there were two of us) and is situated in picturesque and peaceful surroundings. If the weather is fine ( which we‘re glad to say it was in the week when we stayed there) the garden is a real gem and a wonderful place to sit, read, sunbathe or whatever. There is also easy access to the countryside around and you can go for endless walks. The nearby village provides all you need including a lively pub. If you bring a car, you can also tour the country in various directions.

We had to clean the frig out ,some of the knives forks and spoons were not clean .
We had to clean the frig out ,some of the knives forks and spoons were not clean .The draw stunk ,loo seat moved. The down pipe is blocked water going everywhere. The metal strip holding the carpet down ,the screws were not put in properly where you can damage your feet if you tread on them .It could cut your feet . The garden was okay . I would have not paid the money to stay there with those screws as they are .
