We enjoyed every moment of our stay at the Old Wash House.Everywhere was spotlessly clean,and there was a welcome pack included. The lovely sunflowers on the table lasted all week.The owners took the trouble to send us an e.mail explaining the coronavirus precautions that had been taken.Tash made us feel very welcome,and we enjoyed chatting to Geoffrey,and getting to know the cats who were frequent visitors. We have just returned home after another stayvication at the Old Wash House Cottage in Cornwall.

We have just returned home after another stayvication at the Old Wash House Cottage in Cornwall. It was yet again fantastic to be staying at The Old Wash House as it is a beautiful old cottage on a wonderful farm with a lovely open wood log fire which is so relaxing and cosy warm while we cuddle up on the settee in the evenings. The cottage is also in a very central location for visiting Cornwalls quaint fishing villages and beaches and the views driving along its country roads and lanes is stunning and breathtaking indeed. We will of course be booking the Old Wash House Cottage for our annual visit to beautiful Cornwall and highly recommend this destination for anyone looking for a relaxing place to stay on your travels to Cornwall. We both thoughrly enjoyed our stay and it is a wonderful cosy cottage with a log burner for relaxing cosy evenings. Brilliant.

Brilliant. We did have some concerns about going away so soon after the lock down restrictions were lifted. We had no need to worry. the owners went way beyond what was expected and set out by the Govt. The cottage is spacious for just 2 people, extremely well equipped with much more than we expected. This is a lovely place to stay in a great quiet location. Everything you need is only a short drive away. We are considering re-booking for next year. The cottage was clean, comfortable and spacious.

The cottage was clean, comfortable and spacious. Its a bit off the beaten track being part of a farm but that added to the peace and quiet .There was everything there that we needed. Its a good 10/ 15 minute drive to the local supermarket and about the same down to Mevagissy. We had a warm welcome from the owners on arrival. My only criticism , and this is personal choice, the bed was a little too uncomfortable for me , as was the pillows. We also found the shower cubicle door a little difficult to get out off as it doesn't open too wide but the bathroom was lovely otherwise. The extra touches of milk, eggs and beautiful flowers was an added bonus. There was also tea/coffee and sugar supplied plus dishwasher / washer tablets too. We also received an unexpected gift of a bottle of wine and card as we had just got married. Overall an enjoyable stay and i would recommend " The old Wash House " .
