It is just a short drive from the golden sandy beaches of Portreath and Porthtowan where surf hire and lessons are available, and close to beautiful woodland walks and cycle paths. The owners live on-site and are on hand should you need advice or assistance during your stay.
These holiday cottages are beautifully refurbished and are perfectly located for exploring the rugged north coast with its surf, coastal paths and long stretches of sandy beaches, and the south coast with its hidden coves and tranquil sailing waters. The area is popular with walkers as the site is close to the National Trust coastal path and just a few yards from the Coast to Coast Mineral Tramway. Cycle hire available close by.
The area is perfect for fishing, birdwatching, golf, sailing and surfing, or simply relaxing. There are a number of popular attractions and National Trust houses and gardens close by. It is a short drive to Falmouth with its busy harbour and town, Pendennis Castle and The National Maritime Museum. Take the scenic coastal train from nearby St Erth along the coastline into St Ives, which has several, lovely individual shops, pubs and cafés. There is a beautiful long stretch of beach and sand dunes at Hayle, leading up to the famous lighthouse of Godrevey and Gwithian where, if you are lucky, you will see the seals basking on the beach. Explore the 250 acres of woodland, footpaths and small lakes at Tehidy Country Park. Beach 1½ miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.
