A beautiful bungalow, quiet location with beautiful views. Many walks from the doorstep and only a few minutes walk from Keswick, newly refurbished in early 2025 with new kitchen and bathrooms.. 13 steps to entrance.

Separate Toilet.. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Cot and stairgate.. Front garden. Rear terraced garden with patios, garden furniture, summerhouse and BBQ. Private parking for 3 cars. Visit England 4 Star. Please note: There are steps and drops within the grounds.. The Croft is a beautiful three bedroom bungalow with an idyllic location in Keswick. Situated in a peaceful cul-de-sac, 10 minutes’ level walk to both the town centre and Derwentwater, with stunning views including a glimpse of the lake. Most of the accommodation is on one level, with the twin bedroom on the lower ground floor accessed by steps from the living room. The delightful terraced garden is a tranquil haven to relax, dine al fresco and enjoy the views.

There are many walks directly from the doorstep, including to Walla Crag, Castlehead and Friars Crag. Keswick is a beautiful town with many shops, pubs and restaurants. Additionally, Keswick offers a Cinema (The Alhambra), a Theatre (Theatre by the Lake) and many outdoor activities on and around Derwent Water. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

Nice property on the edge of Keswick, good views and quite location but the driveway from hell far too steep for most cars and any frail person would never make it up the drive, just as well there is room to park outside the gate on the grvael road. This cottage is in a great location, easy level walk into town and great walking straight from the door. Had a slight problem with keys on arrival and cumbrian cottages reaction was excellent. Driveway a bit steep but there is ample parking in the lane at the cottage gate. Great views from the lounge window over to Castle crag and beyond to the sca fell range on clear days. Would definitely come here again.

Really enjoyed our vacation at Th Croft. Excellent quiet location. Easy 10 min walk into Keswick and Derwentwater Lake. Having 2 grown up children would have preferred more than 1 TV. Other than that a very well equipped house. Would book again if in the area.

The Croft is perfectly situated for Keswick, with an easy walk into town.

The Croft is perfectly situated for Keswick, with an easy walk into town. It has a lovely little tea room just a short stroll away which is perfect for lunch on a lazy day. It’s easily accessible to the main roads so getting about by car is convenient too. The slope up to the drive could be an issue in bad weather but thankfully none of that bothered us.

Lovely quiet location on the edge of Keswick on the route to Walla Crag. Good sized, well-furnished rooms. Good Wi-Fi and TV. Easy to use kitchen but the wooden cooker hood is awful - I kept banging my head on its sharp edges and corners. Parking for 2 or 3 cars. A really nice place to stay.

Great place to stay with a family. We will be having our fourth stay next year. Great central location for many walks. Near enough to town centre for it to be convenient and far enough away to be quiet. Love it here!
