Despite the rain we enjoyed a delightful week at The Old Stable. The cottage was cosy and warm with quality kitchen wear and decor throughout. An extensive DVD library was appreciated and the peace and quiet suited us perfectly. Barber Booth is a perfect location for trekking and enjoying the beautiful scenery around the Peak District. I highly recommend this cottage and would love to stay again in the future.....I was reluctant to leave....

Lovely surroundings.
Lovely surroundings. Very peaceful. Lots of local walks in all directions. Be aware that campers stream past the cottage during summer weekends and can see straight in.
