After walking all day around the streets of Venice, you will find refreshments in our charming and colorful apartment. My brother and I have tried to make it comfortable for the traveler who can feel at home as soon as he crosses the threshold.
It is easily reachable on foot or by boat, either from Piazzale Roma, for those arriving from the airport or by car, or from the railway station. A few minutes from the apartment you will have the opportunity to visit the famous church of San Nicolò, one of the oldest in the city: the first building say it dates back to the Vii century.
You will have art at your fingertips: Gallerie Dell'accademia, Guggenheim Museum, Punta della Dogana, Scuola di San Rocco, Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari church and much more.
You will satisfy your palate in the typical Osterie (bacàri): in the San Barnaba long street area there are at least 4/5 frequented also by Venetians. around the Fondament of the Ormesini you will find it for all tastes
Taste the spritz, the aperitif invented in Venice and included in the list of world cocktails. you can choose it for aperol, campari or white, but definitely let us put prosecco.
You can not miss the Ghetto: a neighborhood where Jews were obliged to live in the time of the Serenissima. In the area, at the time closed by gates or gates to prevent the transit of people after a certain time in the evening, there were foundries. The word ghetto originates from the action of "ghetto" to "refine the metal with the gaiter". In 2016 in Venice the 500 of the oldest ghetto in the world were celebrated.
