What a wonderful location close to the Rail Station which has the old world feel about it. Walk to the local hotel which has a lovely ambience.The grounds are immaculate, the interior charming and welcoming with two outdoor seating areas close to the home and others scattered amongst the gardens. I would definitely recommend it as a respite from busy living and an introduction to all this unique region has to offer.

Rydal Cottage weekend stay

Great kitchen and bathroom facilities, cozy and warm with great fireplace, lovely big garden. Fantastic place for a couple to get away for a quiet stay, and bonus our dog could come along too.

The cottage, garden and surrounds are beautiful! The photos are a true representation, and Rydal is a quiet, peaceful village with very friendly locals. We were able to get all the supplies we needed from Wallerawang, a short 12 minute drive. Our host Carol was lovely, very responsive and helpful! Our dog LOVED the huge garden!

Great weekend I was there 4 years ago with my dog we done a lot of hiking, I’ve wanted to go back and i did this weekend with my dog It’s a great cottage it’s in a beautiful setting, it really is a lovely place to visit in winter. Cozy Cottage

A very enjoyable stay in a cozy cottage, ideal for couples as it is located some 15 minutes from Lithgow and an easy drive to Katoomba, the heart of the Blue Mountains. The gardens and wildlife surrounding the cottage are spectacular.

Beautiful Cottage

We had an excellent stay at Rydal Cottage. Everything was lovely and clean and the fire was very appreciated. Our little dog had a great time exploring the beautiful surrounding gardens.

Why they chose this property

I had spent time at Rydal & in 2004 purchased the property that was derelict at that stage. A workers Cottage built in the 1800 that was surrounded by run down paddocks.
I enjoyed restoring the Cottage & developing the gardens.
Locals asked me to open my garden for the towns Daffodil Festival so added more gardens & lots of Daffodils.
I love the peace of this Beautiful Town , friends & nabours.

Rydal Cottage is very comfortable, cosy cottage & has a Romantic Charm.
Set on 2 acres the garden area is beautiful & feels like a peaceful private park.
