Great place for our family to stay for a wedding we attended in the hinterland. Plenty of room to gather in the lounge/ dining area for meals and catching up. Clean and comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms. Big kitchen for a few to prepare food!
Amazingggg. So so close to beach and town.
Walked everywhere, enough beds for everyone, TV with netflix. Lots of outdoor seating and big enough dining table for all.
Well equipped kitchen and house wifi.
Host interaction was fantastic! Check out was super early at 9:30 but host advised we could check out a bit later when asked which we appreciated. Location was also great!Security is the main reason for the rating the front gate is unable to be secured and is very old. The back door to the main house is only able to be locked from the outside which is a concern incase of an emergency. Being on a main road and especially 6 women we didn’t feel 100% safe and felt anyone could just walk into the property. The air cons were also very confusing 3 different models on the property - one of the ones in the bungalow took awhile for us to work out how to turn on. More toilet paper and towels would have been appreciated also.
We found the home to be very stylish and in keeping with the Byron Vibe.? The home was beautifully clean and well equipped, walking distance to town and beach, we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay .
Looking forward to booking again!!

We’re glad you had a fantastic stay and look forward to seeing you again in the future.
Great house. Lovely style and perfect for a family with teenagers :-) The location is PERFECT, so central that you can leave your car at the property. The street is busy but it's not loud at all in the house. The verandah is divine, it stays so beautifully cool on hot days.
We had our extended family from WA stay for our sons wedding. Great house, with everything we needed in a perfect location and plenty of room for all to move around.
Jean-Paul was extremely helpful during check-in.
Highly recommend and will stay here again. My
We had a family gathering at this property and everyone found it a great place to stay. Enough space and areas for people to spread out and do their thing. Great for Toddlers, kids, teens, adults. Close to shops and beach. We would definitley use again.
Very suitable & roomy for the amount of family members we needed to accommodate, only dislike was the entry having to reverse cars in when there is a few so you can then get out without any issues.
Very serene lovely home with lots of space and short walk to town. Well appointed and would stay/ recommend. Price and space suited for 2 families or bigger numbers

Nice house and accomodation for 7 people
Lovely house but too close to main road for us. Locking system a bit annoying because you need to use a key at the back to lock yourself in which means that anyone staying out the back cannot get access without a key. Only one key provided. Also communication on late checkout not clear. It is a very nice beach house though.
The perfect place to relax and unwind after a busy day!
We stayed at White Haven for 6 nights, while shooting a fashion campaign in Byron Bay. It was the perfect location to come back to at the end of a long day to chill out and relax. It had everything we needed, two fridges, lots of quality crockery and cutlery, comfy beds and two out door areas where we could hang out and enjoy a wine and a beer. The location is great, and it's only a short walk into town. It offers plenty of off street parking.
We had two nights at this lovely house and wished we could’ve stayed longer. Perfect house for a big group of friends or a large family. Lisa was flexible and helpful, especially since we had to change our booking a few times due to travel restrictions.

36 Shirley street Byron Bay
Arrived at property late(after 6)
Driver rang owners whose advised he would turn off alarm ( wasn’t told there was one)
House smelt very musty, ceiling fans were all very dirty ( mentioned it to owner , he said he would get cleaners to clean).
Lounge is stained and whilst sitting on lounge we were all getting itchy either from floor mat or lounge. Couldn’t get tvs to work so another call to owner which took two hours to fix.one in bungalow not working . Couldn’t turn off air con in bungalow had to climb up and manually turn off.
It rained and the aircon in my room in bungalow leaked onto my bed ,my iPad and table, another msg to owner who just said it sounded like a condensation drain blockage. So had to sleep on one side of bed, floors dirty under beds. So much for deep cleaning due to covid!
Generally up keep good but when we paid $5000 for 4 night ( 6 of us) not good
.wouldn’t recommend to anyone . Gardens overgrown guttering needs cleaning , laundry bags full of dirty laundry sitting on verandah for a few days whilst we were there and no one stayed the week before us . We enjoyed location. Close to everything have photos of lounge
House was ideal for our large family and only a short walk to town and beach. Only issue was that property is on main road into Byron and there was a deal of traffic noise

We really enjoyed our stay at White Haven. Everything was as expected but the thing that blew us away was the hosts flexibility… we rescheduled this trip 4 times due to Covid and the hosts were very accomodating. They also were extremely flexible on check in and check out times to suit our flights. Location was perfect. Look forward to staying again.

Hi Amelia
we are glad that you enjoyed your byron getaway and our property, we would gladly have you or your group come and stay with us again.
The John-Paul and Lisa were absolutely wonderful! We stayed for 7 days with a large family of 12. The house was spacious with a number of spaces to chill out in and everyone was comfortable with there own bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms, so no waiting on showers etc. We loved the outside deck area with a huge table where everyone could sit together. The location was fantastic- just a short walk to the beach and shops! I would highly recommend!

Beautiful house but noisy
We had a beautiful stay in a beautiful house, big enough for a big family. The owner was responding very quickly. The house is comfortable and close to the beach. The major problem is the road which is very noisy day and night ! We paid a lot and we were expecting a perfect house. Some things are a bit old. (AC in one bedroom and in the bungalow which doesn’t work in one bedroom, a door hard to open, no bathroom for the baby…)
