As a traveler, it was just a little disconcerting to have to wait until the home was ready to get the lock box code. Getting it a day or so earlier would be less stressful. Other than that owner was responsive and accommodating with requests and the place was great.

Exceptional views, and Hobart Bridge too

One of the best views you could ask for, all the facilities you could need, a lovely walk to the pub (which has great food and drink), and listen to a wind symphony coming from some of the holes on the last remaining section of the original floating Hobart Bridge. We would definitely stay there again!

Lovely quiet location with an awesome view. A great spot to go exploring further south or up to the neck for the fairy penguin viewing at night or further north.

Great home on the water with everything you need!

We spent the long weekend at Beachcomber and very much enjoyed our stay. We found the house to have everything we needed for our short stay, and the owner lit the fire for us prior to our arrival, which was a nice touch! Waterfront location was top notch!

Lovely location to relax with family

The house was very comfortable. It was nice to go for walks along the beach and swims and then return home to relax on the deck. Easy access to all things in the island.

Cosy quarters in a great location with an absolutely stunning vista.

The cosy little home perched on the slope overlooking the wharf at Alonnah has incredible views capturing Satellite and Huon islands and Dover and Gordon in the distance. It made for a perfect quarters for spending some quality time with my brother and dad. The proximity to hotel Bruny is great. We were just there for a quick overnight stay but the property would make for a perfect base from which to explore the island.
