My experience at the Corn Loft was more than what I have expected, my two little girls enjoyed so much running around the house and outside the property, the horses, chickens, collecting the eggs and talking to the cows, the relaxation you feel is unreal and although from a far but we saw plenty of Kangaroos I just wished we had stayed longer to explore the beautiful beaches and more.
Alistair was quick to respond to any questions and really is a very good person.
Can't wait for our next get away 🌹
We loved every minute of our farm stay! Lovely accomodation and stunning views from every window! We feed the gorgeous horses and collected eggs from the chicken coop! Watched the cows in the paddocks and played with the two beautiful dogs who lived next door! Highly recommend! We will be back!
Thank you Alistair, for a wonderful stay at the corn loft. Our host was friendly and helpful when we found that there was a problem with the fire alarms (it did end up being the one in the bedroom by the way, sorry for the mix up).
The farm was gorgeous and tranquil. The kids loved seeing the chickens and cows. In the morning there were gorgeous parrots as well as kangaroos roaming the property.
We absolutely loved our stay at The Corn Loft, such a beautiful secluded location and still so close to the beach and national parks. Our host Alistair was very easy to contact and provided a detailed description of directions to the house. A highlight for the kids was collecting the chicken eggs!
We had a terrific week staying at The Corn Loft as a family.
The perfect combination of relaxation and activity at nearby towns, beaches and climbing areas. Something for all to enjoy.
The house was stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed collecting fresh eggs for breakfast and the resident wombat who ambled by at leisure! Our dog Jasper had the best holiday too. We would definitely stay again ✨
It’s not easy to find somewhere so close to Sydney where you can get away from it all, but that’s what Corn Loft offers. The cottage is compact but never feels cramped, with every window presenting a gorgeous view of rolling green fields. Our youngest daughter loved feeding the chooks and collecting fresh eggs every morning, our dog loved the daily walks through the paddocks, and we all loved the peace and quiet. So many lovely spots for settling down with a good book! Already planning our next visit.
We had a brilliant time staying here. The house was clean and had everything you could ever need. My kids enjoyed feeding and collecting the chickens eggs, they loved catching yabbies (and turtles) from the lake, watching the cows and feeding the horses. Great location, close to some beautiful beaches too. Overall we had a great time and will be back to stay again. Highly recommend!!
We felt very lucky and privileged that we were able to stay here. The Parma Farm / The Corn Loft is a very special place with a beautiful decor and surroundings and it is just a very easy and quick drive to Jervis Bay. The only downside was that it was a bit hot and stuffy in the bedrooms and we didn't get a great sleep and there were too many flies for our comfort to enjoy the beautiful outdoors, as the weather was rather hot and humid when we stayed here in mid-December but I'm sure it would be very comfortable other times of the year and/or when not so hot. It is a beautiful place and we loved staying here and were extremely appreciative of all the care that went into furnishing this place and setting up the garden and outside the house. A very special place.
We had a great stay at The Corn Loft! Our kids loved feeding the chickens and collecting eggs every day and giving the horses a pat.
The photos don’t do the cottage justice. It has beautiful views from every room and was comfortable, well equipped and private.
The farm setting is lovely, with views across the paddocks to the national park beyond as well as lovely gardens and mature trees.
We did a couple of day trips to the beach which is a half hour drive away. The beaches in this area are beautiful.
We would highly recommend The Corn Loft.
We have been quite a few times now and always love the experience. It's a great place to escape the routine and relax, whilst the kids enjoy the freedom and outdoor alternatives to screen time!
The Corn Loft is located on a gorgeous farm not too far from Nowra. It's very welcoming and has a homely feel to it. The loft and the gardens were very well maintained. BBQ was first class, and it made all the difference to be able to make a good coffee in the mornings with the espresso machine. We enjoyed walking around the property, collecting eggs, and admiring the stunning vistas.
Our city dogs loved it too!
We loved stayIng at The Corn Loft and will definitely be back. It is incredibly peaceful and absolutely stunning. The home is quaint and beautifully decorated in an arty, cottage style. Lots of beautiful spots to picnic or sit with a cup of tea or glass of wine and soak up the view. Very dog friendly. Owners easy to communicate with and around if needed but not nosy. Just delightful.

Property was not clean and no air con. Not a farm stay as advertised
CONS
The property was a farm stead not an active farm, therefore our kids were extremely disappointed. The lake is a dirty cow bath and as we arrived they were happily cooling down and urinating in the lake.
The floor coverings were dusty and covered in pet hair. Being middle of summer the fans only pushed the extreme heat and dust around. The kitchen and bathroom were clean and tidy however the bedrooms were dusty as were the staircase. The sugar bowl was filled with ants also.
PROS
The location is central to the beautiful beaches & the kitchen is fully equipped for bbq’s and cooking. The property itself is well maintained and picturesque with amazing views and surrounds. The peace and quiet of the settings is lovely. The owners communication was speedy and informative which was also appreciated.
Given we paid above the average amount per night for two nights we were not impressed with the overall experience

It's very disappointing to read such an unhappy review.
The Sydney Morning Herald headline over these days was "National records melt in 'prolonged spell of heat' with more to come". It was almost unbearably hot anywhere but the beach. We have always relied on fans which are perfectly adequate in normal conditions. However we have an air con installer coming to the farm tomorrow.
I am surprised to read that it wasn't clean. We have great cleaners though prior to this stay I cleaned it with a friend as our cleaners were unwell. I think of my self as very clean, and my friend is obsessive but it looks like we missed some stuff. We have recently installed new carpet in the bedrooms which I do not believe would have had any dog hair. The rugs in the other rooms can be a bit more difficult to get everything out of but they are always thoroughly vacuumed.
The property is a 100 acre active farm. We have a small herd of belted galloway cattle, an appropriate number for the land size, which we breed. There are cows, a bull and calves. A new calf was born 2 days ago which I was able to pat while it's mother looked on. We also have chooks and a small orchard. Yesterday we actively herded the cows into the cattle yard to tag the new calves, and seperate the older ones. Some times the work required looking after the stock and maintaining the farm feels like too much activity!
When the cows are in the paddock that includes the lake it is their source of water, and they love to cool off in there when it's hot. Unfortunately they do wee in the pool sometimes. Given we are beef growing farm we do not have the luxury of blocking a whole paddock off from the stock.
Despite the odd cow wee, the lake is not dirty, it has a fine mud floor which means the water is brown. It's not especially inviting for swimming, though some guests do. It is fun for kayaking or paddle boarding which our kids love. Until now I've only every heard it called beautiful.
We are always trying to improve and usually find people love staying on our farm.

A perfect family getaway!
A serenic peaceful getaway perfect for any families. A rustic farm stay only a short drive from the best beaches Jervis Bay has to offer. Having the best of both worlds with acres of land around the cottage to enjoy nature and the sandy beaches close-by, it was a pleasant stay. The cottage was comfortable, clean and spacious for our small family. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay
Lovely relaxing cottage , overlooking beautiful farmland . We wondered down to the back part of the farm and saw plenty of kangaroos . We even had a wombat wonder 2 meters from where we were eating outside . Beautiful stunning beaches about 25 mint drive so you get the best of both worlds . The owners are a delight ! Easy going and friendly.
Our dog benji had the best time so much so he spent the next 24 hours sleeping after our short stay .. he was exhausted from all the running around .
THANKYOU so much we will be back !
