Super cool little cabin. Was a great spot to stay for a ski vacation. The game room was really fun and the view was amazing. House was well stocked with everything we needed. I would definitely stay there again.
Well equipped kitchen and comfortable cabin on a beautiful setting amid an old apple orchard with a rushing stream and national forest hiking trails adjacent.
It was such a memorable vacation! Well worth the 12 hour drive from Columbus. My mom and I stayed at this cabin while visiting Vermont to see the fall foliage, and it didn't disappoint!
The stay was great! Perfect for families and kids! We had a blast playing games and spending time together in this awesome cabin. The owners were super friendly and helpful! They even brought us a Christmas tree and syrup! So close to skiing and an amazing spot to enjoy morning coffee! We loved this spot!
Our second time staying at this property. That’s how much we love it and the area. There was only one small issue. The bed side lamp in the master bedroom did not work. Makes it challenging to navigate an unfamiliar room in the dark. Other than that a clean well maintained property located in a small apple grove. Gorgeous views and situated between to wonderful small towns.
Stayed here for our babymoon and everything was perfect. The cabin is secluded and has gorgeous views of the mountains. There are so many towns/cities within an hour drive that there is always things to do. We especially enjoyed Burlington and Stowe. The cabin itself was was extremely clean and beautiful. The kitchen had plenty of appliances for us to use to cook and the basement was super fun with all the games!
We returned to the same cabin 3 years later. In addition to swimming and hiking right at the property, we took an afternoon trip to Stowe and another to Burlington. Back at the cabin, we enjoyed a family fun night playing pool, air hockey, darts, and cornhole in the basement. We also cooked several meals in the well stocked kitchen. The cabin serves as a comfortable home base to explore Vermont!
We loved the location. Off a dirt road, hidden behind trees, with views only of mountains and the occasional deer. The garden is lovely, there’s a brook for getting wet. The only downside was the heat. It was 80 degrees at night in the house, probably 90 upstairs, and with no ceiling fans, it feels very hot when sleeping. Floor fans are provided but they aren’t strong. Also noting one of the railings on the deck is very rotten and hanging on by very little.
The architectural Joinery was great timber framing was exemplary. Very well kept, nice view lots of amenities well thought out Play room, Kitchen, Bedrooms. Mostly turnkey, no need to overthink what to bring or do, as most things are thought of. communication with the property manager was polite, friendly, and expedient.
We stayed here for MLK weekend 2022 and everything was perfect. Cabin was immaculate, warm, and exactly as shown in pictures. Host was communicating information the week prior to check-in and through out the weekend. We skied at Sugarbush and it was a 25 minute drive. We also hiked the back trail at the house. The kids loved the pool table, foosball, darts, & air hockey games in the basement.
Everything about this place was awesome! Bad weather/downtime? Let the kiddos play one of the many games in the basement. On site exploring with the creek in the back and national park by the entrance. Looking to go somewhere? We never traveled more than 50 minutes to Stowe, Burlington or one of the many ski places near by. The house itself was very unique with amazing views!
This cabin was a perfect getaway to see New England Fall foliage and try out local breweries. Situated conveniently near Burlington and Stowe, the cabin provided all necessary amenities and was very clean and cozy. The owners were extremely communicative and welcoming. They made sure that our needs were fully met and that all questions were answered. I wouldn't hesitate to book this cabin again.
We had the perfect VT summer getaway. The property is clean and well maintained. Wi-Fi was fast, check-in and checkout were easy, and the kitchen had what we needed to cook a few meals.
The cabin is surrounded by streams, including a small swimming hole steps from the front door. We enjoyed some local swimming holes, hiked at Sugarbush, and made a day trip to Burlington. All in all, it was a great place to spend 4 days.
The cabin was very nice. It is in a beautiful location with just a short drive to ski and eat. Lots of fun things for our teenage kids to do in the basement, when not outside. Everything we needed was supplied and worked well. We would gladly visit again.
We stayed at this lovely cabin for our daughters family weekend at Middlebury college. The setting was gorgeous, the stars stunning and the cabin perfect. Steve the host was very helpful with local recommendations. We only wish we’d had more time and could have gone to Steve’s sugar house to try his maple ice cream. We will definitely return.
