These are the best directions to find where to start your ascent: Take Woodhill Mountain Rd (north side of the village), drive 6.7 kms and you will come to a T intersection, you are on the top of the T and turning left would take you to Kangaroo Valley via Wattamolla. Either park your car here at the T-intersection, or there is limited parking 500 metres away at the true start to the walk (at the cattle grid). From the T-intersection, walk or drive 200 metres to a right hand fork in the road (do not take either of the right-hand driveways which are near the T-intersection), it is then 300 metres to the cattle grid. From this point it is a steady walk upwards until you reach the lookout where the view and rock formation are stunning. Your descent will be much quicker than the ascent.
Also worth a visit are: Bundewallah Walking Track through pristine rainforest. The Kiama to Gerringong Coast walk.

We really enjoyed our stay! Clean cute cottage, beds were extremely comfortable and our host was really friendly, making sure we had everything we needed for a great weekend
We loved our stay in Matilda Cottage. It had everything - well appointed, super comfortable beds, spotlessly clean and lots of thoughtful touches. It was great to be so close to the coffee shops and restaurants of Queen Street, too.
Lovely well equipped cottage and so central to everything. We had such a great stay in Berry, lovely cafes and a terrific Italian restaurant. Bernadette an excellent host who kept us informed from start to finish. Thoroughly recommend this property.

Check in, facilities, location- just perfect. The weather was also amazing and allowed us to sit and enjoy a few drinks on the lovely verandah, which was a beautiful sun trap and great for a winters day.

Will definitely stay again and recommend to others!
We had a wonderful stay at Matilda cottage! Location was perfect, close to everything but still peaceful. The cottage itself was cute, comfortable and full of charm. Loved the chocolates left for us - such a thoughtful touch. Overall, a lovely stay and recommend!

I’ve been lucky enough to grow up in berry surrounded by the beautiful bush. My biggest passion is horse riding, at the moment I ride a horse called Slim, we love going for rides along seven mile beach. When I’m not in a saddle I’m working in my boutique, Regal On Queen!
