What a gorgeous house! We enjoyed being in this historic house on such a quiet leafy street. Just down the road, within walking distance, were shops and cafes. We had a great stay.
Care and communication with the host was excellent. Back garden was a bit messy, nneded a good tidy up. Inside the house was girst class, clean tidy and welcoming. Thankyou.
Lovely, great location. Property very clean with plenty of kitchen items so you can cater for yourself. Very close to the Original Coopers Ale House, with very good meals.
It was charming and in a fabulous position. A few small issuesThe toilet is not properly bolted to the floor. The widow to main bedroom is fixed in a permanently open position -cold and noisy at timescouldn’t find aircon control. wasn’t in cupboard as suggested on fridge noticeOtherwise, we enjoyed our stay.
good place to stay in central Adelaide. Parking an issue though.

Stunning location. Terrible maintenance and minimal items to utilise. Garage had weeds higher than my car which suggested lack of any maintenance and the host never replied to any messages. We travel all the time and were seeking a go-to for each trip to Adelaide. Stunning spot and great price, yet hosting was almost nil.
It’s the perfect spot to explore all of Adelaide and the surrounding towns. It’s a quiet and quaint neighborhood. The botanical garden is amazing and the art gallery is close by too. Lots of places to explore.
Location is great, walkable to cafes etc. Heritage house is lovely, modern decor.
Still waiting to hear back re: how to use the heating.
You have to be careful not to lock yourself out of this one as one locks backydoor from the inside and front door locks itself. And the management are unresponsive.
Lovely fresh cottage in superb location with car parking
This property is a heritage cottage. It felt fresh and clean and newly painted. Two lovely bedrooms, comfortable lounge/ sitting and convenient kitchen. Efficient AC which is important in Adelaide summer. The over bath shower could be problem for some folks.

Maintenance needed.
Location was great, accommodation as stated, but in need of upkeep and maintenance. Attraction of off-street parking was made difficult because of mal-functioning of garage door.

Excellent Property
Gorgeous heritage cottage. Very neat and tidy. Lovely comfortable beds. Location was perfect, within walking distance of many cafes and the city. Took our bicycles and had easy access to numerous bike paths. Nice light kitchen with everything we needed, including a built in water filter. Parking was tight, but we managed to fit our Prado in. Booked our getaway in winter and while the cottage was cool, there were lots of lovely big warm blankets to snuggle under. Owners were very accommodating. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

4/5 Stars - girls weekend in Adelaide
The house was clean despite the mouldy rank smell, kitchen was a bit lacking in supplies and sink in the bathroom was difficult to use. This is definitely a rental only property so don’t expect the amenities a home would have! We were unable to get any response from the host on the day of check-in until the 10th phone call. We also had to reach out to Home Away for their assistance as well. Don’t expect anything Luxury about this booking experience!
Overall the house was fine, and I would probably stay there again if I had to, just because the location was convenient. If you just need somewhere to crash, it is a good spot! Just wanted to share those details for other guests to have a bit more of a dose of reality going into it. Don’t expect to hear from the host or have easy access to entry.

Good location, gorgeous house, but disappointed
We stayed for 3 nights at the property, and found it immaculate, laid out beautifully, beds very comfortable and a fantastic location.
We were unfortunately disappointed in a few areas:
When trying to add the third night stay, we struggled to receive feedback from the owners until the additional charge was made to our credit card. When the charge came through for the 3rd night, we also were charged an additional $90 'cleaning fee' above the quoted rates - which was not detailed or quoted at any point. When trying to seek clarification from the owners we again had no response - and ended up resigning to the additional charge without explanation.
Staple items in the house like toilet paper and tissues had not been restocked, and we had to purchase these items on our first nights stay.
Again, property was stunning, fantastic location - but just a few frustrating aspects which detracted from our stay.
The other reviews suggest that this may have been an anomaly and we just booked at a bad time?

We were disappointed to arrive and find the house had not been cleaned since the previous guest had vacated. We were able to contact the host via the number on the fridge then had to wait almost an hour for the cleaner to arrive and then had to leave for another hour while it was cleaned. We were also disappointed that our 4WD could not fit in the designated parking which was also the backyard. We chose this property as it had advertised off street parking but it was not made clear that only a tiny vehicle would fit and that it was in the backyard. We also chose this property as it appeared to have a garden, however it was full of weeds and not inviting.Apart from that the house was comfortable and clean and in a good location.
Excellent location for our event in Victoria Park. We parked the car and walked all weekend. But the ambiance of the house was a bit bare. Bathroom was very dated, no drier, no ironing board and we had to go out and buy shampoo and conditioner as the bottles under the sink were empty. The property has potential but needs to be better presented for the money.
The property was in a great location and didn't want for much. Just around the corner are restaurants, coffee shops and very friendly people. Free bus to the main part of Adelaide around the corner also. It was a bright and cheery property and very comfortable.
