Rye Beach Retreat - Pet Friendly

Set just a short walk from the spectacular Number 16 ocean beach but in a world all of its own, Rye Beach House is truly a coastal retreat. Relax on the back deck and listen to the waves or take an easy 7 minute stroll down to the No 16 Beach Café for a truly great coffee and head across the road to the stunning No 16 beach.

The new kitchen has stainless steel appliances, stone benchtops and even a wine fridge! The open plan lounge, flooded with natural light, features a stunning open fire to cosy up to on those cooler nights and opens out to both the front and rear decks for the best of summer living. Also upstairs are three bedrooms with queen beds, a central bathroom, separate toilet, and laundry.

Underneath the house, down external stairs there is another queen bed and further living area, the perfect retreat for the kids.

Set well back from the street, you can relax on the lounge on the north facing front veranda, secluded amongst the ti tree or have a barbie on the back decking and soak in the ocean sounds.

Pets are welcome and will love the large fenced block with plenty of room to spare for your boats and cars.

Oh so close to Peninsular Hot Springs and just a few minutes' drive to Blairgowrie shops and cafes.

Linen & towels are not included. (We supply doona's and pillows, but not sheets, pillow cases and towels). Linen & towels can be supplied for $40 per bed + fees which contributes (but doesn't fully cover) laundering and cleaner's time to make and strip beds.

Rye Beach resort is a wonderful place to stay and relax in. The house was very clean and comfortable with all mod cons. We all had a fabulous time including our furry friends. Our host Karen is lovely and so interested in her guests needs. This is the second time we have stayed here and looking forward to coming back.

Our host Karen was really lovely and gave us some great information. We all absolutely enjoyed our stay. The place was just perfect with all the amenities. Beds were so comfortable and kitchen was well stocked with everything. We particularly enjoyed relaxing on the decking and watching our furry friends enjoying themselves running around the spacious grounds. We would all love to return to this very beautiful place. It was a lovely relaxing weekend.

Loved everything about it!

We stayed here and had a delightful break. It was a joy to be in the light bright kitchen / dining/living space and spill out onto the wide deck. We had fun throwing a frisbee on the green grass in the front yard!Also loved location near 16 Beach, and off-leash dog beach at Blairgowrie.Thanks xxx

The property was perfect for our fur baby, large enclosed yard that kept her amused. The house was cosy, well equipped and very tastefully decorated. There were a couple of tiny maintenance things that should be addressed, but certainly did not affect our stay. Overall the accommodation it self was so beautiful and cozy perfect for the families with easy access of everything required. Everything about our stay was spot on. The booking and communication with Karen was very easy and detailed. The house itself was clean, roomy and comfortable. The fireplace was perfect for winter days and made our stay complete. Overall, a perfect getaway for the long weekend!

Very, very nice!

The place was ideal for our needs. Close to exquisite golf courses, front and back outdoor sitting areas for post game discussions, Rye shops are not far away for supplies, and very good kitchen for cooking up masterpieces. Bedrooms are airy and spacious, as is the living areas. Very, very good place to stay on the Mornington Peninsula.

Perfect relaxing break!

Two familes and 1 little dog comfortably shared this beautiful home. Kitchen is well stocked and home is fully equipped with all the extras required for our stay. Thank you so much! We loved our stay and highly recommend this beach house! Communication was excellent and timely. We also loved the quiet location....but please don't let the cat out of the bag about this local beach! Stunning! 🌊 Perfect for cooling off this long hot weekend and many happy memories made. ☀️

Beautiful house in quiet Rye neighbourhood

We enjoyed our summer holidays in this beautiful beach house in Rye. It’s located on the ocean beach side of Rye with a general store in walking distance. Karen was an amazing host, great, personal communication right from the start. The house has three bedrooms upstairs and a fourth one downstairs. Worth noting that it only has one bath and one toilet which didn’t bother us as we stayed with our children and one of their friends. Beautiful, large open plan living room and a verandah with seating to enjoy the coffee in the morning sun. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. Pet friendly house with an enclosed garden. We’d definitely book this house again.

Beautiful house in amazing location!

We had an amazing stay in this lovely house perfect for the beach location. We were so close to everything and it was so quiet and peaceful. Karen was an absolute pleasure to deal with, what a great host! Karen allowed us to check in early due to the rainy weather which was greatly appreciated. We loved the local suggestions and enjoyed the local coffee and beautiful beach. We hope to be back again real soon, we would love to stay again. Thank you Karen for sharing your lovely home. :)

A hidden gem

We were welcomed into a light filled, clean home. Comfortable beds, a couch to snuggle up on whilst the fire was crackling away in the background. A perfect way to spend a weekend with friends. The location was perfect for walks along the beach, getting and coffee or enjoying what the area has to offer.
