We really enjoyed the outdoor living space with the fireplace and hot tub during the great weather. The house had a well stocked kitchen. The living room space is limited in seating for the number of the bedrooms. Some of the beds were not comfortable in the upstairs bedroom. The well water could use a filtration system to help limit the sulfur smell in the sinks, showers and hot tub.

All you need and more!

We had a wonderful stay at Quiet Escape! The house is well appointed with everything you need for a relaxing getaway. It fit our family of 6 perfectly with comfortable beds for everyone. One of the best features was the back yard patio which was right off the kitchen. Sitting out there with our morning coffee was a highlight. The hosts always responded immediately to our questions and went above and beyond in there hospitality. Raystown Lake was easily accessible from the house and the surrounding area is absolutely beautiful. We highly recommend this property for your next family vacation. 5 stars all the way around.

Lovely house for a girls' get together!

The house was beautiful, such a perfect mix of an old farmhouse with modern upgrades. It was nicely stocked with everything you may need except for a washer and dryer. The fire ring and hot tub were a nice touch! I would definitely recommend!

This house was a fantastic place to stay! Had everything we could have ever needed if we forgot something! Perfect back patio with the hot tub and fire pit, along with a blackstone and a dining table outside as well. The house provided plenty of bath towels AND beach towels for the hot tub or for a boat rental which was what we did. The kitchen island fit all of the kids as well as adults! All around a great stay and will certainly return!

Overall rating very good. Enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub. House very clean. Mattresses on the soft side for the adults. Road traffic very loud until 11-12pm. Would rent again.

Overall review

Disappointed that listing stated grill and it was actually a Blackstone. The Blackstone had filthy with no tools to clean or cook with. We were also disappointed that we were only supplied with 3 pieces of firewood considering the cost of the rental. We had to purchase extra firewood. The beds were extremely uncomfortable with the exception of the room with 2 beds. The clean up process was not difficult but it would have been convenient to leave the linens in a ball on the bed. A washer and dryer would have been nice considering the use of towels, especially after going to the lake. We had to use the same towels daily, and they started to smell after 2 days. Other than these things the stay was nice.

Great house near Raystown Lake

We had a great stay and lots of room. The house had lots of extras such as towels, cooking items, and games. We enjoyed the camp fire and hot tub. Short driving distance to Raystown Lake Resort and camp store. We will stay again.

4 couples enjoyed a long weekend together in this home. The host is easy and quick to communicate with. The home is beautiful and cozy. The beds were very comfortable. Everything was very clean. This home was well stocked with everything we needed and the host left extra little things to use for celebrating July 4th. We made meals in the spacious kitchen and grilled outside. The hot tub and patio was enjoyable in the evening while just relaxing after full days on the lake. We all enjoyed our stay and hope to return. Thanks

Beautiful property - highly recommend!!

This was an absolutely lovely property that was perfect for a family long weekend gathering. Place was exactly as advertised- indoor finishes were top notch, comfortable beds, and an outdoor area with several seating spaces. Hot tub was clean and ready to use. Location was perfect, only a few minutes from Lake Raystown resort. Only comments were that the bedrooms facing the road could have had blinds installed as there were no curtains, but just sheers. Also, the outside couches had dog hair all over them- it was only a problem for one of our party with dog allergies, and there were plenty of other places to sit! We are definitely considering renting this place again- and would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone !!!
