About the host
Hosted by Violetta Buti
My parents bought this farmers' house in 1987. I inherited my share of the property in 2010 and bought the other shares from my siblings in 2011; this is also the year when I decided to move here while a long ongoing renovation was taking place. Since then the changes are extraordinary but also the money and energy I put in it. I love this place, the nature, the views, the peace. Florence city center is close and I can go there anytime.... even thoughI love it each time that I come back again! I run my home based travel business from here: customised trips to Italy, tours and excursions for a foreign clientele.
Why they chose this property
This property reminds me of my parents, connects me with my inner soul and the world. I feel an energy here that I hope you will feel too!
What makes this property unique
Quiet, rustic yet contemporary, with all the benefits and comforts of modern life. Beautiful garden, 200 olive trees and my own extra virgin olive oil production, fresh vegetables from the garden, fruits from the fruit trees. Very close to Florence and close to all other art cities and wine road. Perfect starting point for many walks and hikes.
