Cozy Nest Near Skiing

Great vacation spot! This cozy eclectic apartment is a three-minute walk from the charming village of Walloon Lake with its shopping, beach, and restaurants. This space comes with a full kitchen and workspace. Situated on a quiet street. It is an ideal spot for two, however, there is a sleeper in the living room to accommodate two little ones. Our apartment is 12 minutes from Petoskey's gas light district, Boyne Mountain's skiing/waterpark, or Boyne City's popular farmer's market.

The space
Our rental is found in an attractive ranch-style apartment building. There is an on-site laundry room located in the central hallway of the apartments.
In bedroom the offer a queen-size bed, desk, and closet with an oscillating fan. The unit includes a full kitchen with a dining room table for four. The living room has Roku T.V., WiFi, and a ceiling fan. We have a large parking area if you are bringing a boat or a trailer.

We have quiet renters so we would ask that you would enjoy the solitude too and have consideration of them after 10 PM & no guests of guests.

Very nice little spot. Host was prompt in communicating. The only issues we had was the walk way was icy and not shoveled upon arrival and the driveway was not plowed our first morning and our vehicle doesn’t do great in the snow so one of our guys had to push us out; but it was plowed our second morning and we had no problem getting out. We lost a phone at one point and our host went out of their way to help us find it and we eventually did. Great price for the value!

Loved the Cozy Nest!

We absolutely loved our stay! The place was clean and just as described. It's a great location that allowed us to take day trips to Petoskey, Charlevoix, Boyne City, Boyne Mountain Resort, etc. and have a comfy place to relax at the end of the day. We would absolutely recommend this place and will stay again in the future.

Getting to know people & reading are my favorite hobbies. My husband and I really enjoy Northern Michigan and it’s wonderful walking trails in the summer( a.k.a. snowshoeing trails in the winter). We have five children that love to swim, ski and keep us hopping. Our favorite restaurant is The Barrel Back found in Walloon Lake Village (just three minutes from the rental). It sits above the lake so you can watch the boats or snowmobilers come in depending on the season. I enjoy hosting the rental and hope that guests will find everything they need at the apartment and have a pleasant stay.-Heather

Local activites are downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, ice skating (when it’s cold enough in the village by the Barrel Back restaurant), boating (rentals are available in the village), golf, mountain biking, hiking, and biking trails are within a ten minute drive. ​​​If you like upscale restaurants The Barrel Back restaurant/boats is a memorable experience. It sits above a marina in the Village of Walloon & it’s a fun place to watch the boats.
