A truly luxurious tri level open plan spa villa located in Mount View - Hunter Valley wine country.
The Edge has a modern sophisticated design that takes luxury and romance to a whole new level. This self-contained villa is perched on the edge, overlooking Cedar Creek on 6 private acres in a pristine mountain valley.
The Edge is a unique space and has been purposely designed as a couples retreat and is well known for being one of the most sought after options for luxury accommodation in the Hunter Valley.
Key features include a king size bed, custom made circular hydrotherapy bath with mini bar and a modern gas log flame fireplace. There are 3 TV’s - bedroom, spa and lounge area with surround sound throughout. The villa is completely air conditioned with heated flooring in the bathroom. The fully equipped kitchen includes oven, microwave, full size fridge, espresso machine and separate intimate dining area.
Glass stacker doors open up onto a large veranda with outdoor seating which overlooks the creek bed and perfectly frames expansive mountain views. The veranda is the ultimate vantage point to watch the abundant wildlife which frequent the property. There are multiple private picnic spots by the spring fed creek and a huge lawn suitable for helicopter pick up.
Vineyard tours & transfer pick up is also available directly from the villa.
The Edge villa is an adult’s only accommodation so we do not cater for children. Non walking infants are absolutely fine. Free Wifi is available along with a complimentary landline telephone.

Why they chose this property

Some of my earliest memories are hanging out on the site whilst my father built the original cottage. This property is the last part of a much larger parcel owned by my family since the 1920's. It has had a complete transformation over the years but still remains a truly unique building. The spring-fed creek below the villa adds a wonderful natural feature and the sound of running water babbling along is enchanting.

What makes this property unique

Absolute privacy on your own 6 acre property. Secluded picnic spots by the spring-fed creek. Beautiful grounds for photos and the perfect location for a romantic occasion.
