Beautiful home perfect way to welcome the new year! Host communicated quickly. Short walk to historic main street. And really fun to dig into the history of the home and area guided by the welcome book provided by the host.
This was my second time staying here at Sagebrush. a really wonderful place in a great location. Well cared for, nicely outfitted and very comfortable. My friends and I make this our mountain bike trip base camp. Great driveway for multiple cars and a big garage for wrenching and storing bikes. With 18-Road so close a bike shop, two breweries and a a handful of restaurants close...can't beat it.
Really cool historical place. Very clean, quiet and comfortable. It wasn’t a five b/c it didn’t have a main floor powder room / bathroom aside from the one in the main floor’s bedroom

Beautiful old house, nice patio with tables, chairs and a firepit. Easy walking to coffee shops, restaurants and bars. We would absolutely rent again if in the area.

If you are looking to stay at an interesting and historic home, this is the one for you. Many of the finishes are original, yet the owner has done their best to make it comfortable and modern. This is a beautiful home.
Happy to report that our family reunion of 7 female cousins was a great success. This property met all of our needs. The beds and linens were extremely comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked with plentiful pots, pans, glasses, dish ware and gadgets. The welcome basket was a nice touch. The book of family and local Fruita history was an interesting read. As a group of women who grew up in older homes in New England, we all felt right at home in this spacious rental which while having the character of an historic home provided all the modern amenities anyone could need. A good time was had by all. I am already spreading the word about this wonderful rental!

Beautiful home two blocks from Main Street in Fruita
Beautiful home two blocks from Main St., Fruita. Five bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths. The living area is spacious and nicely furnished. There were nine of us, and there was plenty of room to spread out as well as to gather. The kitchen was small, but well equipped and it worked fine. Beds were comfy, nice towels, etc. I reached out nearly every day with a question or concern, and heard back in a very timely manner… it was a bit slower on Christmas day, but come on! What do you expect?! We loved sitting on the wraparound front porch reading and playing cards on the warmer day we were there. It was wonderful being able to bring our dog, and the spacious garage was perfect for storing our bicycles. Overall, a lovely stay.

Loved this historical home, very walkable to everything in downtown Fruita. Easy access th trails and the highway. The inside is super quaint, and with modern amenities and ability to cook full meals for 2 families.
We had a wonderful time in the Sagebrush house. It is large enough that the 10 of us were comfortable and are still talking to each other after. We loved being able to walk to Camillas for breakfast and to the pubs for afternoon drinks. The beds are very comfortable.

The best VRBO experience we have ever had. Would highly recommend this property. It’s historic but updated with modern amenities that made our stay very comfortable. Excellent location to everything.
We had Thanksgiving with 4 children and their spouse. We brought lots of pot/pans and cooking utensils because we were making all the best Thanksgiving dishes. This home had all of the "stuff" needed (except 6 pie dishes which we made).
Management was very responsive and helpful.
We would totally do it again.
Thank you
Beautiful historic home. Nicely updated kitchen and bathrooms. Almost wall to wall hardwood floors that can be squeaky, but that is part of its charm. So wonderfully close to Fruita downtown and biking and hiking trails. Two townie bikes very handy. So relaxing to just sit on front wrap around porch and people watch. Very nicely landscaped yard. One week was not enough time to truly enjoy the house and location.
