Really enjoyed my time with my family at the wild cascadia retreat. We used this location for easy access to the mountain and it was perfect. The unit was well stocked and communication with the host was excellent - would definitely stay again.

Nice home!
Nice home! Cute and comfy inside. Large kitchen, lots of utensils and supplies. New construction. Large yard with hammock and firepit. Three bedrooms and plenty of space. Would definitely stay again!
Property was very clean and it was soothing to hear the river nearby. Unit is well stocked with board games. Property is about 30 minutes from historic Timberline lodge.
This was a great place to stay, felt like home. Everything we needed was there. The essentials like foil, storage bags, salt and pepper were there, the things you don't think of packing. It wasnt a long drive to Mt Hood Skibowl, and the backyard was perfect for the pups. The host was great with communicating ahead of time so there were no issues entering the house.Would definitely stay again!
We loved our stay at this clean, comfortable home. The kitchen, laundry and bathrooms were all well stocked. The reclining couch was perfect for the end the day. Our dog made herself right at home in the cute memory foam bed! I was not aware there was no AC. Opening and closing windows nightly still made for a comfortable stay.
Our stay was amazing. The check-in process was super simple; the owner/manager is able to assign door codes remotely, which get you access into the home. All rooms and appliances are new or very clean. Quiet property with everything you'd need for an extended stay. Highly recommended.
Property is spacious and well equiped for a short stay. We (two couples and myself) were in ZigZag for the Old Time Music Campout on a nearby farm. Commute to and from farm was easy. Property is well maintained, has three bedrooms and plenty of space for all of us. Parking is ample. Beautiful setting, wonderful place for an early morning walk.
We live in Portland but decided to rent this property so we’d be close to sledding / snow shoeing areas. This property was close and allowed us to have a short drive to rest and relax after playing.
Tucked away in a sweet little neighborgood, this hime was an amazing find. No direct access to the river, but it was only a short walk to find access. We didnt end up using the pool, but will on our bext stay as we will definitely be coming back!
Home is clean and the king bed was comfortable. Kirchen is stocked for cooking in doors. Home needs a bbq. The patio/decks are small and the backyard is open with lots of over growing weeds. No privacy. The front is where we sat on our camping chairs and enjoyed the view. The fees are super high and I would not stay again for the amount we paid.

Hi Carrie, we are happy to hear you found the king beds comfortable and the kitchen well stocked for cooking indoors! This property does not have a patio/deck so unsure what you are referencing.
Great but small new property in "cabin" community, still working out a few kinks + NO A/C
Property was in perfect condition and worked fine for my family of 6, though was a bit small with not many options to spread out. Easy place to find and easily accessible to many great things around the area. Just some things to note for future guests:
--The property manual mentions adjusting the temp to your liking but there is NO A/C. 80+ degrees inside with no way to cool it down was a little tough (though they did bring us 2 fans halfway through our stay which helped a lot)
--The light switch by the door controls the couch power - we didn't realize this until we were checking out
--There's no grill or space to hang out outside.
--They have a few of the necessities you may need but have forgotten to pack yourself - they really did a nice job of making it feel welcoming and provide what you need
--Their customer service was quite responsive when we had a question for them.
We would definitely consider staying here again if we were back in the area.

Shana, thank you for your review, we are happy you found that the property was in perfect condition and worked for your family of 6! Although this property is not listed with the amenity of an AC we can understand that the verbiage of adjusting the temperature may be a bit confusing and would be happy to add the word "Heating" for future guests. It was a pleasure hosting you and your family!
This was an excellent property. Everything was very clean, and looked exactly like in the pictures.
Everything was very nice and clean. I ould relax in th quietness of the wilderness. However, it would be a lot better if we could change the A/C temperature to a bit cooler because I had some trouble sleeping. Other than that, everything was nice and relaxing.
