Woodland View Backwoods Cabins at Susitna Lodge

Each of our newer Backwoods Cabins have a private full bathroom, dining area, living room and offers two private bedrooms.

The cabin kitchenettes have a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, electric skillet, hot plate, crock pot, coffee maker and electric tea kettle. They are also furnished with dishes and cutlery. Each cabin sitting and dining area offers plenty of room for you and your guests.

Our Backwoods Cabins can each accommodate 5 adults with one queen bed in each of the two bedrooms and sofa sleeper in the living room.

These Alaska Cabins also have picnic tables with outdoor grills if you want to cook up your catch of the day.

The Susitna River Lodge is a beautiful resort in Talkeetna.

The rustic cabins are lovely and the views are beautiful. Free coffee , cider, tea, and hot chocolate were nice touches. I would suggest breakfast rolls for purchase would be nice.

our family really loved the badminton court on the river. The view of the river in the cabins in the woods was really peaceful and quiet. The staff there is very friendly and helpful and it’s about a half mile from town.
