House is beautiful but…..
The house is beautiful. Views are amazing! The issue is getting in touch with the guest contact was very difficult. I began reaching out trying to get information about how I would receive the check in instructions (from evolve instructions it stated to reach out to get access) I just needed a simple answer like we will email instructions 48 hours before check in. I could not get a timely response. I finally got the instructions after a few emails and that was fine then we started packing. Upon arrival, the hot tub was bubbling brown foam and had not been cleaned. The house had been cleaned but there were cobwebs in the kitchen on the deco, spiders webs and dead bugs in the bathroom under the vanity. The house had not been freshened up after the last cleaning and was probably closed up for a few weeks. Large black ants were everywhere including crawling on you while sitting on the couch. The air return vent was covered in dust and the vent underneath black looking. This house just needs a little more attention than it was receiving. The hot tub was cleaned the next day, after draining and cleaning it was another day before we could use it. The owners made it right by refunding the cleaning fee but the time spent trying to contact the local guest contact and the numerous calls/emails with Evolve were time consuming and frustrating. I had to continue sending pictures and explaining the issue. We made the best of it but I have never had issues like this with other rental platforms.
