Family fun Easter break

Stayed for 3 days during our Easter break. Location is fab for Dovedale and carsington water. Plus 3 visits am and pm to pool. Unbeatable. Vicki and Tim are always available but thankfully we didn’t need them. Great countryside retreat.

Nearly faultless

Clean with everything you need. Only issue is the heating had a mind of its own and bathroom extractor was noisy in wind. Beautiful part of the world.

Lovely cottage in peaceful surroundings

Lovely stay for a family of 4 in peaceful surroundings. Plenty to do nearby, swimming pool was a bonus for the kids and owners very approachable. Would stay again.

I want to keep it a secret

This is the best accommodation we have ever had in the UK with the bonus of a great swimming pool.We stayed in the woodshed just 2 of us but big even for 4. Everything you could possibly want is in the Woodshed with really comfy sofa and beds,large TV and no problem internet, there is also a lovely outside area with built in Barbie. The lovely little town of Ashbourne is a short distance as is carsington water.We are walker bird watchers and there was an abundance of both in the area.I want to keep this place a secret as it could easily become so popular that it would be hard to rebook.There was only one slight niggle,the music from the stables which detracted from the peace on the patio for breakfast and lunch although it wasn't loud. We will definitely be back.
